It Would Be Better If Specific Abilities Dint Have Animations

Like the null star / invisibility for example.

While running it stops you and you do the animation - would be better if there was no animation to stop you.

 

 

It'd make the game more fluid

A few abilites could use something like 0 cast time, but with others its a useful balancing tool / flavor win.

 

The Trinity's first few abilties for instance really need to very quick to cast since its hard under normal circumtances to cast them before something dies.

Just try using radial javelin for excalibur on defense and not get your self killed by toxic ancients the cast time is too damn slow for just ramming your sword in the floor

well you could just simply use radial blind first or i don't know get farther away

Well, I kinda agree. Though, instead of having no animations, the abilities should be animating the upper body only, enabling you to run around while casting, but not to shoot.

 

Speaking from a technical side, depending on the engine/tools, animation masking shouldn't be hard to do, and I'm pretty certain we already have a lot of it in Warframe anyway - shooting, reloading, switching weapons, melee attacks, etc.

I rarely have problems with this, personally. I like the animations--I wish they were linked to the ability all the way, so that once the animation was done, the ability went off. I've had shield lancers interrupt me right at the end of a power and completely interrupt it, and then it'll go off wildly when I stand back up.

The animations are also really cool looking, which we know is the most important thing.

Atleast don't have it in air.

Looks weird when you're zoren copter-ing through the mission and activate invis , *stops* *activates invis* *continue*

Someone worked hard to make those animations what they are, and you just want them gone. For shame.

 

Besides it's not like it is hard to, you know, stop running for 2 seconds.

Removing =/= disabling them while doing other animations.
