No? HM would be perfectly fine if it make weapons with LOW SLASH DAMAGE proc more slash. But right now makes weapon that was made to never proc slash suddenly cut everything.

To some weapons, having 0 slash or 0 IPS is a downside to balance the weapon. HM just throw this on the trashbin.

"This weapon have massive crit damage and crit chance, but can't do physical damage" Nice, gonna put HM and the only downside is removed.

i won't say like "knives". Like an electrical cut/laceration? But without the electrical proc. It's similar to how mods can add elemental damages to an otherwise non-elemental weapon. Just in this case, the proc only has a chance to apply on crits.

But it makes sense that an electric beam weapon creates explosion effects? 

Or that melee weapons with physical edge cant deal physical damage?

Or slotting in a mod suddenly makes melee weapons kill further than their actual lenght?

Or that we have a radiation weapon what increases the size of bodyparts on enemies?

Or that a simple mod suddenly forces a single barrel rocket launcher to launch 3 rockets what somehow dont explode on themselves despite touching each other?

 

Stop trying to apply logic to a game where we have space magic and physics defiing equipment.

The OP could use much more constructivity. Why do you think those changes shouldn't apply to non-slash weapons ? Why do you think it's bad ? Is there any additional changes that would be worth mentionning and put in place about Hunter Munitions ?

Please think about that in the next thread you make about it.
