So, what did the comic add in terms of lore?

How did vay hek turn from an idiotic fool into a double chinned, violent, screaming idiotic fool? He was asked by tengus to present the ghouls (for some reason), just to be thrown in then repaired? I feel like the comic didn't add anything besides why hek looks like a potatoe now..

that's pretty much all it did, explained how he looks the way he does now, and i guess gave us minor info on tengus? didn't even get a proper explanation to how he developed the personality he has now (which would have been far more interesting, though i guess long) to go along with the face.

It showed us a bit of how grineer society looks like. It showed us he used to be a small person, nervous, afraid, a stage-fright patriot.

But he saw himself as approved by the higher-ups, took it as great pride, his upgrades made him aroggant, new position powerful. No longer a jester, and all who laughed now beneath him.

That's what I saw.
