Casardis
Similarly to how the Message of the Day appears above the doors of the Great Hall (I assume it does for bigger halls too), why not add the option of an editable message above all doors, one on each side? I'm trying to create a guide for other people by writing which door leads to where, but even that can be confusing using only a single panel. If there's the possibility of adding a message right above each door, that can help in knowing where you are going, no matter which side of the door you're on. It's also a good way to label each room and see it in advance since all doors are closed. Edited August 2, 2013 by Casardis
paul62626
i want to be able to add labels to doors, that way i can list things in the dojo, as downstairs is the obstacle course, and upstairs is research.
Loswaith
We have been using the room control consols to assist this kind of thing. So that may work as a stop gap in the mean time. Not against this however, I just like the more subtle approach of the small signs above the consols.

However, unfortunately, it's not that effective in the long run, especially for Cross Connectors. Subtle or not, it won't cut it when it comes to labyrinth-like Dojos as it expands, especially for new members. Ignideus
This would be a pretty welcome addition, especially for larger and more labyrinthian dojos.

Interestingly I find it most useful for cross/T connectors, less so on rooms as they are often out of the way. I can see it being an issue too, though maybe if you got some indicaton on when placing the connector it could help. Alternativly maybe some kind of signage decorations that have the common dojo features shown in appropiate text or even ones you can add text/images too that look morein tune with the dojo style could work as well. As a decoration you can place them where your asthetic tastes desire.

I think the reason why I find it ineffective is that you still have to turn to the console and make sure you're looking at it right for the directions, whereas a simple sign above the door would give you direct indication. That's quite a good idea. I guess my nitpicks on that would be, if they act like normal decorations, that: - They will take rare resources to make, so more farming for a single sign - Each takes a single day to make, though that isn't much of an issue Edited August 6, 2013 by Casardis
Loswaith
There is always the option to use the consols while building. The signs are still a better option that what you have now, that said they can all be built concurrently if you have enough resources.
