Different Weapon Xp From Low Level Grineer And Highish Level Infested

With the double xp, I figured I would do my normal solo mission to level a couple of weapons, Europa/Lilith.  At the start my Sobek was just under 17.5 and at the end not much higher after about 100 kills.  I then repeated that with same results, then did Mercury/M Prime, 95 kills later and just over three quarters of a level gained with it now at around level 18.4.

 

Someone move the decimal point for Infested XP?

Nope. Grineer have always given the most affinity per kill, and affinity scaling is still terrible. Only thing that helps with Infested is that there are so many of them.
