What weapons would you like to see in game!?

I'd like to see an infested sniper rifle. Maybe it could fire flying insect like creatures that dig their way into the target's flesh, dealing puncture and possibly slash damage, and release a poisonous gas, dealing gas damage.

Some of these would be nice because it is nice addition and could fit to the warframe universe. If you just google it you can search a lot of chinese weapons but it works with the other cultures aswell.

other than that, tiger hook swords that can be hooked together and swung with one hooked at the end of the other sword

I think we already have quite a few of these, such as the kesheg for number 6 and the pangolin for number 7, but. . . what IS that arouseing beast in picture 5? Looks like it would have excellant block and deflection potential, in addition to a slow slash and puncture dedicated combat style.

You know if we could get a shield in general that isn't attached to Volt's three that would nice, make it duel wield with single handed secondary's. Then again i'm still waiting on them to make daggers and swords dual weild like I could've sworn they said they were going to when they added it with Glaives, also what ever happened to duel sword Zaw's? Weren't they supposed to be a thing as well?

Maybe but these weapons on the image are differ from the mentionned weapons. We actually have no any real spear weapon only just polearms and staves but these are not spears. The dandao is a different type of sword, the kesheg is not a spear, the armblade not ripkas more or like it is a same weapon like the obex and combined with the boltace.

Some of the throwing daggers and blades are really in the game but there are some with different form and shapes which could be in the game too. The Jian is still not in game and there is no really close swords nearby only the jaw sword and the first two weapon is totally different and those are not swords. The second one for example is very far from the krohkur.

The look sometimes can cheat a bit but these are not implemented yet and these weapon ideas still up.

These weapons maybe reminds you to some weapon which already in the game but these are not those what you compared. Also the same is applied to this what I wrote to Unus. But thankies anyway any suggestions.

So those things I asked about are called armblades eh? And they are meant to be used more like fist weapons then? Heh. Haven't exactly had a puncture or slash-based fist item yet, just the claw weapon-type. Could be worthwhile.

- Although I'm not against the addition of new weapons, I would like to see the old arsenal improved or updated in one manner or the other, for example when I saw the javlock for the first time I thought it was like half-rifle half-staff/polearm kind of deal, like I thought I would be able to melee with it. but I guess I got my expectations too high. 

  As of late, the most fun I've been having is with weapons that have like a secondary feature or secondary firing mode, like the Tenora (yeah I know read a lot of crap bout that secondary shot...well I love it) or the Panthera (wish one didn't have to hold on to the key to use the secondary though...well it is an issue if using ps4 controller).

   The Harpak feels like a missed opportunity to make a fun weapon, the secondary shot fires a harpoon cmo'n! 

but honestly I can't really think of what weapons need to be added, and what improved, when what really we should be looking at is the way firearms work in general. Meaning the only thing that is magical in this game, should be the warframes, not the firearms.

 for example something like the soma (you've heard this before) the gorgon or the tenora etc. they should be heavy and cumbersome to wield, yet by the looks of it, they might as well be made of paper mache, and the ammo? 800 rounds or so? it doesn't matter which magical caliber we are talking in here, it is going to take room in your magical backpack and you are going to feel the weight of it. I made a quick search, din't look any deeper into it, but for a soldiers carrying an M4, he would usually pack 210 rounds of ammunition, Ideally the nature of the mission will help the soldier determine how much ammo is appropriate, well that's what I found , again, I just made a quick google search.

 

I don't want to start a debate about "oh you want realism? in a game like warframe???" yeah if the whole universe in warframe ran on void magic the whole universe breaks apart, it is sci fi, I know, but the tenno are the one thing that blurs the line here, between sci fi and fantasy that is, don't go any further than that, I am at odds with the whole kuva harvest  already, next thing we know we are buying mithrill from goblins (because why the hell not?)

   I do not want realism (not in the strict form), but I do not want it to look like the warframes shop at an store run by Jim Carrey's the Mask... or JIm Carrey for that matter.

    Do you guys remember the first years of Warframe? the corpus and the Grineer were obsessed with figuring out how warframes work, how to harness that power, as of now it looks like they gave up and now they opt for matching them warframes void powers by doing what? the grineer bake more and bigger clones, and the corpus build more and bigger proxies, it seems to me like they gave up at trying to gain more understanding (though they still dig for orokin ruins that's good), for they do as they were already doing, they are not adapting, and when you face an enemy like the warframes it should be an "adapt or die" kind of deal.

. take a look at military history, the British field the first battle tank in WWI, what is the answer of the Austro-Hungarian empire? after procuring some captured models they decide to build their own, maybe it wasn't better, it had its issues, but the message was out there "we can step up our game".

   the Grineer and the corpus need to step up their game, and they need to come up with new weapons, cool new, interesting weapons, the the tenno are going to steal and use against them.

   maybe we should see in turn some grineer and corpus (bosses or otherwise) fielding tenno weapons, I mean they have a degree of success killing or defeating countless warframes in battles, what do they make of it?
