lamburger
Im fairly new to warframe and im not getting many good first impressions... i want a new weapon, and it takes forever to get anything to build it with... then i notice that once i DO finish all of the vigorious grinding for resources, i still have to pay to actually build it, this is slightly getting me pissed... Dtexas
It doesnt take that long to get what you need for some of the starting weapons. Yes the game is a bit of a grind but most f2p games are, at least the game isnt on the level of vindictus grinding to get good gear. Try a little harder :/
BoompigXD
You don't have to pay platnium to build your weapon, unless your talking about the credits which isn't a big deal since creds fall from the sky. The only thing Plat has in Building a weapon is, Rushing it.

Angius
Translation - "This game isn't casual and I can't have whatever I want, when I want. So it sucks." Cry more. No, it's rather: "I want THIS and THIS and THAT and GIVE ME but I won't do anything to get it! ME WANT NOW!" Cuz I consider myself as "casual" player, but I don't have problems with farming anything... Common resources and credits are falling from the sky, so... Dovahjim
You don't have to pay to actually make it, just wait however long it tells you to.
LordMidnightX
after a while of playing you will end up with to much to level at one time lol I have multiply weapons sitting at level 20ish that I dropped when I got ogris to level. It really speeds up as you go along
lamburger
Well i see that this community is amazing.. im not saying i dont LIKE the grinding ,it just gets tedious from time to time, i can still deal with it though, im just talking about not being able to get a weapon without an amazingly long time to get what i WANT, not whats easier to get.... Blackchaosvortex
Almost everything in warframe is a grind, or has a grindy nature. If you are farming for materials, blueprints for your weapons, blueprints of your warframe, void blueprints, weapons parts, mods, stalker ... I understand that it bugs you that it takes such a long effort and time, but to be honest when i was done crafting (especially my first warframe) oh man... it felt so rewarding and i didnt mind the wait cap.... So playing things i crafted made it ultimately more rewarding and more fun. Especially when you found your warframe and weapons that suits your taste, then everything starts to feel less grindy. That said, why is this in the general bugs section anywayz? o.O Edited August 4, 2013 by Blackchaosvortex

Kaweru
Well this was going to be a post on problems with the drops, but i had went off on a noob feel and said all of that :p Yeah...going through this post...it was a little unfortunate that came up. Unfortunately it is, however, to be expected as there are indeed people who do fall into those categories. But some of the things that people have highlighted are indeed as they are. Warframe is a Free-to-Play game...as such, you never have to put a single penny into the game. As with many free-to-play models, there is a method where we can actually put money into the game. Digital Extremes in this case with Warframe, has been at least very good (in my humble opinion) about this model. Almost everything in the game can be obtained without having to put real money into it. Naturally if you were to put real money into it, these things come faster. Otherwise...you can just farm. I like this model because it's not like some other F2P where there are items beyond your reach because you have to put X amount of money into the game. And oh these "Pay-to-win" sometimes breaks the game too. Heck...I love Warframe..barely played it a week when I first started and knew I'd love the game. As you can see, I plopped down for Grand Master. The only things I've ever spent my plat on are stuff I can't farm such as Warframe & Inventory slots or novelty items like the Sentinel skins or color packages for the hell of it. Most of my catalyst and reactors are farmed (cept recently since I keep missing the reactor ones o.o; ) In the end...it boils down to equity. How much time are you willing to part with? You can spend the time farming (which I can find fun. I farmed all my frames and all my weapons), or spend the time with a (hopeful) job and use some of those earnings to buy platinum. Folks at Digital Extreme need to be paid too XD In either case....hope you're able to come to terms in some way and hopefully a happy one. Good game and happy hunting! PS: Btw....why is this in bugs? I think Feedback or General Discussion would have been more appropriate. Granted...I was here to file a bug and voila saw this post so here I am XD
