Couldn't Extract from Plains after Eidolon hunt

After successfully completing an eidolon hunt 2 of my party members were able to leave and go back into Cetus, leaving 2 of us outside. I was host, other was client, and so I had to force my application into migrating host to him, which then allowed him to extract successfully. I lost all items picked up during the hunt (have picture of items that I didn't get.)

We did NOT have a green circle zone for extraction, and nothing we did worked. We couldn't all leave and come back in, or run out into plains, NOTHING worked, nothing brought the zone up to extract, no one entering the town portal hallway brought up the extraction timer. 

 

Yes I AM hoping to somehow be reimbursed for it if possible. But I mean seriously. That could have potentially been 4 players unable to get rewards from a major new piece of game content. Unable to leave without Aborting mission or forcing a player to sacrifice abort?
