A Proposition For A New Warframe

I was playing the game and I noticed something. There are 4 Elemental damage types fire, lightning, ice and armor piercing (it seems strange but it IS an element) and 4 power slots. despite this there are only Warframes for 3 of the elements and none of them have any crossover elements for obvious reasons.

So my suggestion is this, a Warframe that is capable of using all 4 of these elements and exploiting their effects but is unable to do any damage through most of these abilities. This gives this particular Warframe the role of area denial. It can slow down enemy warframes and make their shields fragile with Ice, paralyze them and cease their movements with lightning, knock them all back with a hot gust of wind or strip all of their armor away

those are some ideas for abilities that I came up with but I think I ought to list them off in a more formal fashion 1-3 are in no particular order but I think due to 4's powerful nature it should be an ultimate.

1.Flash freeze: causes a walkway of ice to go out before the Tenno, this causes enemies to slowdown on contact and doubles damage done to shields while in contact (higher ranks last longer and have a longer and wider attack)

2.static shock:a field of energy is released from beneath the tenno  causing robotic enemies(although it could affect all enemy types I thought robots only would make more sense) to totally seize up and become unable to move/attack for a period of time( scaling same as FF)

3.Heat Wave: Sends out a hot gust of wind in a line ahead of the Tenno with a 60% chance to stagger enemies and a 15% chance to knock them over (Probability increases with Rank)

4.Strip search(ultimate):removes armor from all enemies within a certain radius and has a 5% chance to make Ammo/energy to pop out of enemies discarded armor. The armor removal gives all hits an ability similar to the Boltor's armor ignore. This might have to be made ineffective against bosses/ certain enemies for balance issues....(upgrades increase radius and item drop probability)

Judging by the capabilities this warframe will have a very difficult time operating alone so it is best used in groups and could be a great boon in defense.

So there it is guys! My idea! I know it is unlikely that a new warframe will be added be just because I ask it to be so, especially because so much balancing and thinking has to go into it but if it does that would be awesome! Especially because I was told that I will not be celebrating my 16th birthday due to some financial issues but if they made this Warframe that would be one heck of a birthday gift!

post your thoughts below! I'd love to hear them! Does anything seem overpowered or under-powered? Is my idea just garbage all together? do you like it and want to see it in game? Or has this role already been totally covered in game?

I love the idea of a purely crowd control warframe. I've been an advocate for one for some time now and even proposed one myself, but this a tankier aspect. See: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/79072-new-tank-frame/

However, I don't exactly think this is the way to go, in my opinion only. I've always favored specialization over diversity and a frame that has limited control over all elements is not as interesting, or as effective sounding, to me as four frames which each hold mastery in one domain. Frames should specialize and diversity should be achieved through teaming up with other frames. Also justifying a frame of this nature would be difficult. All those elements existing in one small suit would be highly unstable.

We also have the element mods of this reason: damage plus beneficial effect.

I would much prefer to see a cc frame that specializes in a single domain to achieve battlefield control than spreading oneself thin dabbling in a multitude of areas.

This is all, of course, only my biased opinion.

Well that I know, it seems a bit off that one warframe can "wield them all!" but while it is thinly spread it simply uses the elements for their effects the problem with this game though is that all of the different elements each have their own aspect that gives them a crowd control element.Ice slows and weakens shields, Lightning totally stops opponents, fire does a better deal of damage compared to other elements (in certain situations) and armor piercing...well pierces armor?

I do like your idea as well, it would fill the hole the  pre-nerf Rhino left and then improve upon it's defensive capabilities.

The solution is simple... we make Armor Piercing warframe!

I thought about that but I'm not sure what kind of powers you would give him beyond shooting armor piercing lasers from his eyeballs...

then again a Tenno that farts lasers and can literally kill you with his stare sounds kind of badass....

Heat Wave is just a worse version of Sonic Boom....

I don't think a multi element 'Frame would fit in very well, the elemental frames we have seem to be completely designed for one purpose and that is to harness the specific element.

Not quite, my idea of "heat wave" is that it would travel down a straight line that  was  approx 3 feet thick and possibly 20 meters long. Whereas a banshee uses a radial attack with a short range and 360 coverage. The idea is to get a large number of enemies rushing at you down a narrow corridor so you can then knock them down and have your friends clean them up.( this would prove very effective against infested)

the basic notion behind this frame is that it's designed to not use the elements to it's fullest by doing damage but to instead exploit their effects to help make crowds of enemies more vulnerable
