hobolyra
I used to get 40 seconds or so on this with a Duration+ mod, and now I'm getting under 15 seconds! Why the stealth nerf, or is this just a bug?
zerogear5
no idea I even if they did it still is easy to spam.
Miose
Still a dirty trick! They nerfed his vortex without ever saying the were... they just did it and left it out of the patch notes.
Shawnno
don't think it's 40 seconds, 15 seconds is the default maybe, with the two duration mods should be 24 seconds max if I'm not mistaken, or that's how myne works

Yes. It is. =/
perunaperse
I never seen that it lasts 40 seconds, maybe your now confused with frost snow globe time which is about 40 seconds with continuity, and i can say vauban been always 15 base and 24 with 2 duration mods. Since I been playing vauban since the time i started game, which means about 1 and half month ago. Edited August 4, 2013 by perunaperse
NDroid
I must say I've noticed the same. Even with maxed Continuity and Constitution mods equipped Bastille's duration seems much shorter than before.
Hammie
Mine has always lasted 24 seconds (with maxed continuity and constitution) and still does, so... ;p from the wiki: 6 / 6 / 9 / 9 meters. Is affected by the Stretch mod. Duration of 8 / ? / 12 / 15 seconds. This is increased with Power Duration (Continuity and Constitution). Will hold all enemies that enter the field even if they entered after the player has cast it. Will not affect bosses, Ospreys or Rollers.Except Jackal, Sgt. Nef Anyo, and Kela De Thaym (she is still able to use weapons and abilities). 15 seconds X 1.58 (58%) duration increase is 23.7 seconds Edited August 4, 2013 by Hammie

RoboDoge
Yes, a lot of people in my clan have said the same thing. We can't all be crazy suddenly... Make Vauban less efficient a.k.a. nerf him=sell more Novas that feel OP when new players are using them. Repeat the process with Nova when another new frame is introduced. This pattern can be easily see for every frame that is over the top: First Rhino ( most expensive frame ), Banshee comes Rhino gets nerfed, Banshee owns with hers WubWub, nerf Banshee just before Vauban is introduced, Vauban owns for some time, introduce Nova, Vauban gets nerfed. Numot
You know, I never noticed this pattern until you said it here. Hm.. I wonder if it's just a coincidence or not. Player driven response. People tend to complain about a newest frame, even if it's balanced or not, just because it might be able to do things they can't do or can do on their frame of choice. Can't have nice things because people become envious.
S3raph
First Rhino ( most expensive frame ) Don't know how far back you're going, but when I started playing (the day Warframe came out on Steam) Rhino, Frost and (for some insane reason) Ash were all 375 plat. I don't remember Frost and Ash being nerfed.
fatpig84
Doesn't detract his abilities against infested still. It is not like you will run of energy with a Nova as a partner....

How would nova give you energy? Wouldn't Trinity be more apt here?
Doubtfulblaze
If it was lasting 40 seconds it probably needed a nerf.

aucran
Didn't recent patch notes say they 'fixed' Constitution? (Although, I think the fix refereed to the knock-down recovery) but maybe they accidentally broke the Continuity part of Constitution...
aucran
How would nova give you energy? Wouldn't Trinity be more apt here? Because Nova makes the waves end once the first Bastille is full, so you won't be re-casting it. :)

Rhino was god before U8 if you remember and 50+ % of the people used him. With iron skin nerf DE sent him back to the Ice age. it is common business model: if you introducing something new, make best right now less effective when compared with new product. We all know that DE didnt make this game for our enjoyment.
