Flux Rifle Nerf?

Ive noticed in one of the recent patches that something was changed about the flux rifle. It no longer dismembers enemies into many chunks which was a tad ridiculous but still enjoyable and It it still does dismember effect which is good.

The problem is that with the recent change, elemental death effects are now being applied which is in my opinion is a hindrance. I now find my self wasting ammo attempting to shoot around dead bodies that are just in the way or having to constantly stop and start shooting wasting even more ammo. The only element that doesn't cause a problem is freeze damage as they just simply explode.

Now this is actually a problem I think overall with most weapons once you start applying elemental mods which is pretty much a necessity if you want more damage output. I think it would be good to either have the option to not have these death animations or have them so they are not getting in the way of the combat.

Fire/Lightning death animations have always been a thorn in my side when I'm modding weapons.

When enemies die to AP they gib/tear apart,

if it's Freeze they shatter,

if it's Fire they flail about,

and if it's shock they slowly fall to their knees.

It's not a nerf, it's a 'feature' (albeit an annoying one when coupled with Freeze's slow).

Remove fire and shock mods, then it'll cuts up/freeze-smashes enemies just fine with armor-piercing and freeze mods.

Id call an annoying feature as you say a nerf. And I don't think having to avoid 2 mods for pretty much all weapons to avoid the problem is a very good solution.
