AncientBeholder
That's what I suggest: it's mix between controls of generic shooter games (just like Borderlands 2) and games like Dark Souls. Interested to hear your replies. P.S. Hope, you can see the picture... Edited August 4, 2013 by AncientBeholder

Now, it is jpg file) Having to select powers is too slow. For this I can see only two solutions, for now: 1) Use D-pad for quick selection of powers: four directions - four powers. But it leaves us without [place marker] button = we need new combination of buttons in this case or add this function to already existing button. 2) Add another function to [use power] button: when you hold it, that will open 'wheel'-type menu where you can choose needed power by simply pointing with one of the sticks (most of games use this thing). What do you think? P.S. with PS4 controller this will be easier: swipe touchpad in set direction = use set power...

Or also- 3)Add another function to [use power] button: When you hold it, each of the face buttons activates a power. The ps3 exclusive game infamous did that.
