Fragor

I simply wanted to bring this to DE's attention.

Wouldent it be nice if this weapon did what the description said its supposed to do?

A large two-handed hammer, the FRAGOR requires great strength to wield, but impacts with enough force to send groups of enemies tumbling.

The fix for this is rather simple. So simple infact its kinda silly you havent done it already.

Give Fragor Forcefield Damage!

at least on charge attacks. that is all.

comment if you agree, or disagree. just comment.

Edit: Its come to my attention that Bo has a similar description as well.

Forcefield damage type ragdolls enemies..

And then, OP, you realize that Fragor does knockback enemies with it's charge attack.

Tumbling and Stagger are two completely different things. Um, Google the terms and you'll understand. not being a smartass, just Google it.

And the Description doesn't say knockback or stagger, which is the entire point. it specifically says tumbling. which refers to ragdoll effect. (and if your gonna say after they're dead, you cant be enemies with a corpse. and the description says Groups of enemies not groups of corpses.)

These are facts supported by the In-game description and the English language....its hard to argue with that.

So you want the normal attack to ragdoll? Do you know how deadly that'd be if you could have an armor ignore Scindo that ragdolls/staggers on every attack?

Yeah but the Fragor doesn't stagger, it knocks down and knocks back. The Orthos staggers - enemies just wobble a bit. The Fragor makes enemies tumble, as in send them somersaulting across the floor. No offense broski but I think you're the one who needs to study up on his semantics, the Fragor does what it describes.

If you want it to ragdoll enemies, and claim that ragdolling is more "tumble" than a knockback...then I'm going to say you're just nitpicking.

Whoa whoa whoa. cool your jets starscream. and read the post. ive used the Fragor and it does not knock back. only to corpses which is a useless feature since they're already dead and not a problem anymore. Forcefield damage would make it a viable feature instead of something thats only cosmetic.

Calm down dude. I didnt say anything insulting what so ever. and you come off straight up immature with you argumentative and disrespectful tone. take that S#&$ elsewhere.

Why do people on these forums feel its necessary to try to cut into people for no real reason? its kinda high school man. (stroke your ego away from us)

btw "A large two-handed hammer, the FRAGOR requires great strength to wield, but impacts with enough force to send groups of enemies tumbling." means what it means. i see no knockback in that description. Edited by S3ven0F13

...dude did you even potato your fragor?

My fragor kills in 1-4 normal hits depending on difficulty, more often than not 3 is the most I'll need and on that last hit, things get ragdolled.

It'd just be annoying if every hit automatically ragdolled enemies and sent them tumbling, follow up attacks would just be a huge bother.

If you've modded your fragor right a single charge attack will send enemies flying.

Just youtube Fragor: Flight of the Grineer.

You need to read. He addressed that.

"It'd just be annoying if every hit automatically ragdolled enemies and sent them tumbling. Follow-up attacks would just be a huge bother."

What he's saying is that when modded right, you can get your dream and have a single attack send enemies flying. But the Fragor already does cause enemies to tumble. I use one. It's both CC and damage-dealing. Look at the jump attack! The hammer hits so hard there's a visible, 6 meter shockwave that shakes or knocks down enemies! It already hits with enough force to ragdoll enemies. We don't need the normal attack to ragdoll. No one promised that. No one said that. The description states that it can cause enemies to tumble. It never said that it always tumbles.

Just be happy with the badass corpse-flying effect.

I read what you said breh, I'm not saying it's weak. The description says "impacts with enough force to send groups of enemies tumbling.". What are you shaking your head for? I'm telling you if you potato your fragor that's exactly what it'll do most the time. I'm also saying forcefield damage isn't needed. whatever you charge attack is most likely gonna die and if it doesn't a simple tap of the E key will send it flying.
