New version 0.5.1 is up with a complete suit of the new surface types, updated proc calculations, updated continuous fire weapon functionality, and much more.

It has some problems for example it makes gas when you add wildfire and cicero mod instead of adding it to the existing corrosive thus making inaccurate . Besides that i think it works fine

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll check it out when I get off work. Could you check to see if other dual mods with elements like Blaze operate correctly?

Will do . It also happens with pistol mod if you have corrosive and add icestorm and cicero mod it will made viral

Edit: it does the same if you put Charged shell and contagious spread will make corrosive and adding toxic barrage and blaze will make gas .Also i thin the numbers are a bit of . Unmod it says a Strun wraith will kill a heavy grineer 100 lvl in 1 sec while the others will do above 10 sec +

Got off work early due to inclement weather: Version 0.5.2 is up.

Fixed the bug Garuger found, a problem with burst-fire weapon calculations, and a problem with the procs-per-second displayed for continuous fire weapons. The last one wasn't affecting the DPS or TTK calculations, but was causing the wrong procs-per-second values to be displayed.

Now it works fine with the elements .However i found out that it says unmod  Strun wraith will kill a heavy grineer 100 lvl in 1 sec while the others enemies will do above 10 sec +.Will test it with other shotguns to see if same thing happens with other shotguns

Looks like a major text formatting error. Thanks for finding it!

Edit - After messing around with the code and trying to replicate this over the last couple of days I've had no luck. It looks like the values are correct but it's putting commas instead of periods to delineate decimal places. What version of Java are you running?

The Soma does 16 damage per shot on average, with 15 shots/second, so 240 dps. All values raw/burst, not taking armor etc. into account. How would i go about getting those values? I get lots of values, but none that i can reproduce with basic calculation.

A very large amount. If you want to see the real proc chance per projectile: divide the listed proc chance by the number of projectiles fired per shot.

Gott, I'm sure you know so I'm gonna ask you.

Are the alloy and ferrite surface like the other surfaces or do they scale independently from health like armor?

And if they scales like armor are the resistance/weakness of the alloy and ferrite applied normally or are they more like partial armor ignore?

The resistances and weaknesses do not appear to scale with level, but the base armor provided by a given surface does.

Updated to version 0.5.4.

Fixed a major issue with DoTs in the TTK sim, and fixed a typo in Stunning Speed (You'll have to re-add it to your saved builds).

I'm not sure if it's a known issue or not, but there seems to be a bug in how reload speed mods are being calculated with mods (at least for pistols).

 

I was playing around with akMagnus builds and I noticed that the calculator is subtracting the face value percentage from the reload speed, so it was showing a reload time of 1.56 (should be around 2 seconds I think) seconds with a maxed Quickdraw, and a reload of .36 (~1.5s-ish actual I believe) seconds with both Quickdraw and Stunning Speed. I mean, I wish (I *really* *REALLY* wish) it worked that way in game, but, uh, I don't think it does. ;)

 

On an unrelated note, I was also wondering how you correctly figure out the value for burst fire rate so that you get the right time to empty the magazine on a burst fire weapon ? I tried setting it the same as the base rate of fire, but that leads to some screwy time to empty mag values on a Burston Prime.

I'll check out the reload oddness you're referring to.

In relation to the second point: I've done the work for you. I updated the wiki recently with the fire-rates during bursts and the rate at which you can fire off bursts. Check there for that info.

No problem. A good half of damage 2.0 is the status procs like the DoTs from slash, gas, fire, and toxin, burst procs like electric, and debuffs like viral. Underestimating or discounting them can lead to false impressions of effectiveness. That's why I'm so surprised most other tools don't factor them.
