I just finished a kappa mission and a bunch of stuff got levelled up, when i return to the starmap though it says im rank 6, even though i had not even done the rank up test.

I had this problem when U9 was first released. I intended on remaining rank 1 as I had for a few months but after playing a mission, I was mysteriously rank 2.

After the u9 patch, when doing the new tutorial it counted as the next mastery test. They have patched it so it can't be abused, its a one time thing.

I, too, have experienced this, when I hit rank 5 I didn't test.

It's a bug that's been going around where you didn't have to take a mastery test, and it would automatically ascend to the next MR.

 

Kinda bizzare when I completed a mission, and not seeing my Profile bar flashing prompting me to do a Mastery Test. But of well, I'm MR7 now *shrug*

I experienced the same thing for rank 5-6, which was a bummer, since I like doing the tests. But when I leveled up to rank 7 I had to do my test, so maybe it's a one time bug after u9?
