After a day of farming kappa with different weapons and warframes, i decided to test out the dera with some mods, and holy hotdog on a flying bun, the thing melts enemies like no tomorrow, people say the laser damage type is weak, but this thing melts Hek faster than my gorgon, probably gonna forma this baby 1-2 times.

Why in HEAVEN do you hate the Acrid?!?

It's an AMAZING secondary!

At unranked it killed lv30 grineers in two shots!

Because its too big, and i dont like the overall feeling to it. Besides, it's way too overrated. People go on and on about how its the only good secondary and blah blah blah, and sadly, it makes me sick. I'm sticking to my akbolto. It's a good reliable secondary. It doesnt erase lvl 1000 enemies in a few seconds like the acrid (exaggerating a bit here), but its a comfortable weapon, and does fine damage as well.

Besides, I love being able to do well with something, that a lot of people says arent good.

I agree, the Acrid is maybe a bit too big, but to be honest, it is almost the only good secondary. It would be the best if the Kunais didn't exist. And I mean, how can you not get a good feeling when you obliterate lv100 enemies in a short period of time?

same reason why I dont like all music that are well made. Just because a song is good, doesnt mean I like it. If you know what I mean.

Yeah man, I get what you mean! I was just so surprised that it was one of your most hated weapons, that's all :)

But of course, everyone has a different taste, but for me I'm never leaving my Acrid.

In order of priority to equip mods.

Serration - Raw Damage
Piercing Hit - Armor damage
Fast Hands - Reload speed
Split Chamber - More Projectiles
Wildfire - Fire damage + Mag size
Cryo Rounds - Ice damage
Ammo Drum/Rifle Ammo conversion - Stockpile of ammo
Last is free for whatever suits playstyle.

Laser weaponry is already somewhat affective against corpus. No need for stormbringer.
Equip wildfire or the rifle's fire damage mod for effectiveness against infested.
Crit rate is not that high for this rifle so I do not reccomend crit mods.

Serration - Raw Damage

Piercing Hit - Armor damage

Split Chamber - More Projectiles

Wildfire - Fire damage + Mag size

Cryo Rounds - Ice damage

Stormbringer - Electrical Damage

Only attempt to fit other mods in AFTER you have gotten all previously stated mods as far as you can.

Fixed that for you.

Once they FINALLY nerf Amour, then viable weapon variety will increase drastically.

If you think the Dera is good, wait until you get a hold of the Flux and Supra.

With a "perfect" raw-damage build (Serration, Split Chamber, Speed Trigger, Wildfire, Hellfire, Cryo Rounds, Stormbringer, Piercing Hit) the Stats are as follows:

Dera:

DPS :: 5539.973

DPS to Corpus :: 6557.519

DPS to Grineer :: 5539.973

DPS to Infested :: 7235.883

Burst DPS :: 9936.003

Burst DPS to Corpus :: 11760.983

Burst DPS to Grineer :: 9936.003

Burst DPS to Infested :: 12977.636

Flux:

DPS :: 6544.44

DPS to Corpus :: 7746.48

DPS to Grineer :: 6544.44

DPS to Infested :: 8547.84

Burst DPS :: 8289.624

Burst DPS to Corpus :: 9812.208

Burst DPS to Grineer :: 8289.624

Burst DPS to Infested :: 10827.264

It's also perfectly 100% accurate, has no travel time, ignores armor, does triple damage to infested, and has a 100% stagger effect built in as well as ripping enemies into little pieces.

Supra:

DPS :: 9835.833

DPS to Corpus :: 11642.415

DPS to Grineer :: 9835.833

DPS to Infested :: 12846.802

Burst DPS :: 17485.926

Burst DPS to Corpus :: 20697.626

Burst DPS to Grineer :: 17485.926

Burst DPS to Infested :: 22838.76

One thing to bear in mind with the Flux Rifle is that it has a very limited range.  Sure, it's got some impressive DPS and other abilities, but there are quite a few places where you're going to have to close with enemies in order to hurt them.  Though it's not much of an issue most of the time, when you get to higher tier defense missions and the like, not being able to pick off the railgun moas or having to leave snowglobe to get at an enemy who refuses to get any closer, well... It can get dicey.
