Actually it is because Hema sucks, but peasants only kill low level enemies, so everything gets destroyed by anything.

I gotta admit, I kinda liked the slower, harder hitting Quartakk more, but... It's still a bit better with these changes, the faster fire rate definitely makes it more responsive. Base damage is still on the low side, but it can now be built hybrid crit and status which helps it in the damage department quite a bit. Either way, it's effectively a burst rifle shotgun hybrid now which makes it pretty interesting as a weapon.

The Raid School Bus discord server has about 10K members and is extremely active. The majority of people I know in this game does raids on a regular basis. Most of my clan does them and I see ''H LoR'' and ''LF JV'' very often in recruitment chat.

What I never see, on the other hand, is people playing conclave. Every time I try, I can sit for 10 minutes in a lobby without anyone showing up. Especially since you made farming challenges with friends a bannable offense for some reason, which was the only reasonnable way to farm conclave skins.

I don't know what your charts are saying, but they are wrong if you still believe conclave deserves more attention than fixing progression-breaking bugs in raids. I'm sure reallocating some of that dev time to raids would be grealtly appreciated by veterans.

Quartakk is now very comfortable and non-suicidal :) Thank you. With it now firing a lot faster it's status procs are much more efficient and the weapon itself very satisfying to use :D Sadly you nerfed its damage by quite a bit and I'd like to see just a portion of it return, but other than that, it's a lot more sortie viable than it was pre-change.

How about you explain why you feel so broken-hearted from its changes.

Do you not like how it feels now? Do you see it as a nerf? Please explain.

I think he just didn't test it or had a riven very specific to pre-change Quartakk.

Actually, I've been testing this more and I honestly think they made a mistake and gave the weapon its per pellet damage *per burst*, which means it's doing about a quarter of the expected DPS.


EDIT: Nevermind, went in against some bog standard corpus with an unmodded gun and it seems fine. I really do wish they would give us a training dummy with no weaknesses or resistances to just test numbers on.

Great update. Nothing about this round that I dont like. Loving how much focus on QoL the last few updates have been, even if it is just for UI although I would like to see revisits of stagnant game systems/weapons/warframes, etc. Just number tweaks would be great.

I'll probably grab that polearm skin. Really waiting on the Mithra heavy blade and the microphone polearm skin though so fingers crossed it comes out soon.

Wish melee blocking was adjusted to start at 100% reduction decaying over x seconds to current values.

Interesting that the Quartakk is getting so much love. Here's hoping burst weapons get their own combo mechanics or something similar to their conclave mods.

De loves to torture people who loves the grineer weapons... My beloved Argonak ,Quartakk and Viper wraiths...All of them has 3-5 forma and riven but they still sucks a lot...Now lets hope corinth does not get hit too...Oh i forgot its gonna be with damage 2.5...

It's technically better, though. The burst fire change paired with the double fire rate means it dumps status on enemies really efficiently. I'd actually argue that it's comparable to if not better than the Burston Prime once you factor crit in. Which admittedly isn't a great weapon, but there weapons far, FAR worse.

 

The way I see it, if they're not going to go back and buff up the damage of all the older weapons (Javlok pls) they might as well park the Quartakk around the point comparable weapons are at until they decide what they're going to do with damage, armor, status procs, scaling, etc.
