The skana costs are beyond me .. 1100 alloy, 500 plastids, 3 morphics (rest is meh) - for the weakest, starter weapon?

It should use no uncommon resources at all -  and shoudl be craftable with Mercury materials.

1x morphics

1000 ferrite

500 polymer

15k credits

Oo

Well, I don't think that skana should be so easy to obtain. There is a reason why Skana has some cult around.

The other thing that we should have at least one melee credit-purchaseable. And I think that some basic dagger would be acceptable. It makes sense to have something that closer to knife easy to obtain, plus all hail the AP. Yes, the range is short, but 1st attack has easy-controllable step and area of hit, making busting both enemies and crates very easy. I personally wandered with heat dagger to level 19 without cutting enemy much simply because of crates. I also tested it on Grineers and I'm pretty amused by performance.

There are exactly zero melee weapons on the Marketplace for credits, yet there's the MK1, Braton, and Strun along with Lato, AkLato, and Lex.

3 Primaries.

3 Secondaries.

0 Melee?

That makes no sense.

And yes, 1100 Alloy Plates, and 500 Plastids are ridiculous.

At least it ain't the machete, which takes FOUR Gallium (....Fragor/Scindo only takes 3!), 800 Plastids (!?!?), 750 Salvage and 900 Alloy Plates.

Seriously, for such a weak weapon?

4 Gallium? Really?

Reason why skana is pain to build? You had it as starting melee and if you sold it and now you wanna build it again, you should pay the price.

That's the stupidest reason ever. "Hey, I wanna upgrade my melee, but I don't have a lot of extra weapon slots, so I'll sell my starter melee weapon and get something better"

Why are the MK1 braton and lato ok as credit weapons but not the skana?

As i remember DE made all melees plat exclusive. You need Lato for Bolto so it should be a little stupid to make it plat only. As for MK-1, you should ask DE staff.

Wut? They're BP too, but it's dumb skana is a BP

You need Lato for Bolto so it should be a little stupid to make it plat only.

But it's starter equipment! Therefore you should pay for the mistake of selling it!

As for MK-1, you should ask DE staff.

Still a bad reason. No excuse for skana being a BP

Being sarcastic will not chance the fact that you still need plastids for it. I remade Skana also and i didnt made "butthurt" thread on forums. You have option of not building another Skana, nobody forces you to build it.

Where was I being sarcastic? I was using your logic here. It's starting equipment, you sell it, you should be punished. Am I using your logic wrong? I don't think so. Just because no one FORCES you to build one isn't a reason it shouldn't be credits OR have such high mats cost.

(also, I didn't make a "butthurt" thread, check who the OP is)
