Windowed Mode - Mouse Issue

A recent update released over the past few days seems to have altered the way the mouse is used in game when it is set to windowed. Before, when in playing the game (not in menus), the mouse was "locked" into the window area. This was fine.

 

Now it seems that the mouse is no longer locked in the same way, meaning the game is impossible to play windowed. The mouse keeps appearing outside the game window. When you click to fire, you find yourself moving focus to the desktop or whatever window is behind it.

 

Has anyone else experience this and is there a fix?

I always play in windowed mode and have not noticed a change, there could be something else that's requesting focus from your mouse

Thanks for the response, but I can't find anything that would be causing such an issue - and it's not like I have installed / modified anything on the machine since I last played.

 

Still, if no-one else has this issue it must be something I have done. A puzzling one, this...

for the first couple weeks i played this game, i played it windowed. I was constantly clicking out of the game, at REALLY inopportune times. I only play fullscreen now, to avoid it. I'm not aware of a fix.

 

Nor am i sure WHY it happens. It doesn't happen with my other games. Just crappy like, unity games and the like.
