Ogris Breaks Immersion

Arguing about immersion won't get it to anywhere. If you want to;

Warframe is about ninja-like, warfare-oriented, cybernetic-suit wearing, mercenaries/assasins/warriors in space, THOUSAND YEARS ahead of our age. Now, could you make sure that some weapons that surely won't be used by ninja in ours and the age before us won't be used by those people?

try 530 and only allow it 10 shots so you can't snipe forever yet 1 pickup would be full ammo

sounds like you can just be invalidated by RNG if rifle ammo doesn't drop. If we really want ammo "balance" I'd probably put it to 50 or 60 rockets. It's not an armchair science, balance. At least not in games where skill is also relevant to some degree.

This is where ninja theme in Warframe starts:

"A ninja was a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan who specialized in unorthodox warfare. The functions of the ninja included espionage, sabotage, infiltration, and assassination, and open combat in certain situations."

And this is where it ends.

Absolutely nothing featured in this game goes against being a ninja.

Well, this is almost exactly my point. Rocket Launchers are very "orthodox" military weapons when you really think of them. Its something for the open battlefield for taking out armor and something that could be a great equalizer between warriors of different skill. Its almost directly counter to the precision, stealth, and mastery of weapons that being a ninja implies. Please show me a rocket launcher kata.

I do understand that Ninjas were masters of pragmatism, and occasionally the right tool for a job could be a rocket launcher, but I don't think this would be always plan A.

So 1%-2% of the time, A Ninja with a rocket launcher could be cool, but more than that and it gets old and grating fast.

You do know that ninjas used gunpowder explosives(and later guns) any second it was available, right? Kayaku Jutsu was learned by all ninjas and covered the use of explosives and guns.

Edit: besides, REMOTE explosives is even more ninja than placed charges, don't you think?

... but we are not ninja

if anything we are more Samurai and Ronin then anything else.  Warrior's skilled in weapon and blade capable of cutting swatches of death through entire armies with only but a handful on our side.

but i have been curious...

Who every said we are ninja in the first place?
