Flux Rifle & Speed Trigger <0.o>

The Flux Rifle seems to not work with a 50% Speed Trigger. Can anyone else reproduce this?

Speed Trigger has little (if any) impact on the rate at which the Flux Rifle deals damage and consumes ammo; Split Chamber works, and can significantly increase damage output.

Any reason as to why Speed Trigger does not affect the Flux Rifle? It should. Do I happen to be missing something?

i agree. there's no reason it shouldn't effect it. And if they don't think you should fire a laser weapon 'faster', then they should instead make speedtrigger cause LESS ammo to be consumed.

 

So speed trigger at +50% firespeed would give you 50% ammo consumption, or something like that.

I hear that fire rate is bugged depending on the users fps or some sort like that.
It could possibly be that the Flux rifle already shoots insanely fast to where it can't
keep up and is therefore slowed. I could be wrong though, it might've only been
directed to melees and non auto rifles.
