Niryco
How many of you guys do it? I admit i am addicted to using rolling as a dodge method. When i say rolling i mean doing the rolls back, front, left and right. Like fighting krill while aiming down my sights and use D+shift and roll to cover or away from his ice/fire waves. It feels so amazing. I don't know about you guys, but those who aren't doing it, i hope you figure it out and get into the habit of it because it feels so smooth and free-flowing. Not all the hectic sliding, helicopters or those roll and jump forward melee mid-air(bad habits i admit). The movement just feels so smooth i can't really say much other than it is Simply Amazing. How many of you roll in all directions (not the basic one but the aim-down sight + direction + shift) in combat, and if you do, do you enjoy it? Because i absolutely do! Sophista
its nice, but im not so hyper-super-ultra-mega-disneyland-awesome-Barney-Legen-neat-dary about it. :)
Arlayn
Rolls back? you mean back flip right? Cause backflip has saved me many times from many attacks... Plus if you hold down the aim button and roll to the side its far better and helps to keep aim on enemy. edit: however I would prefer a cartwheel to the side not a roll to the side... lol... Dochi.
I do this all the time, especially when fighting Kril or if I'm using a weak weapon vs a Heavy Gunner and I gotta take cover to recover shields :3 Dodging saved my life multiple times. I hope they can add something to it, like abit more moves so that a whole chain can be executed by players.

Fleetwing
I've been practicing with all the rolls and moves, and it makes close combat really smooth and gobs of fun. Another fun trick is a forward flip into a ground-pound attack, which looks awesome. I gotta hand it to DE, they've created a movement system that is a real joy to master. Relkin
I try to roll dodge and wall run as much as possible in combat these days to make it more interesting. I'd love to see more moves added and combat that requires it.

But seriously I make combat interesting rolling everywhere, theres nothing better than dodging a meele attack doing a backflip, There should be a buff when you dodge an attack. Like increased speed or a 100% critical chance on your next attack.

I don't mean to double post but I'm not sure how to add this quote to my first post so here's to hoping this will combine my posts. You can use the controller to do a dodge roll, you just have to go into your gamepad settings and choose Left Stick Press (or another button of your choice) as the Sprint/Roll hotkey. To roll you simply tap the button, to sprint you hold the button down. So when you're aiming down your sights, you can tap that button and dodge roll in any direction.
