Aspari
It's just a third person The Darkness II without profanity. Runs on the same engine, enemies die the same way, and a lot of the sounds from gunfire and the noises the Darkness makes were used for Warframe too. Warframe lacks profanity so I suppose that's the only reason Warframe isn't rated M.

fishworshipper
To be fair, in Warframe eating people's $&*^s isn't the main point of gameplay. And, the gore is optional.

Brasten
Games that are primarily online should be instantly given an M Mature rating. For Human to Human interactions. Especially for ones that include player communication methods in text or audio. Edited August 6, 2013 by Brasten
Doforcash
dude ...no as much as i like enemies curse me when i kill they leader...i would pefer enemies being smart-talk but dum-thinking, cause this game is all about slience mercenary doing they job without any higher purpose, no desire, no back story, NO NOTHING. They just doing exactly what Lotus said. + another reason, if they game has profanity, then the catch-pray "Ninja play free" won't be very true, and how will DE tell us to be polite in Forum when the game itself not ? Why doesn't the government make it illegal for adults, and children to interact at all? should separate them into special camps... children interact with robots on one half of the world, and adults live out their lives on the other... then the world can be Teen rated right? nope then you have kids doing bad stuff... so I guess we need to seclude them in tiny rooms till they turn 18... yeah that sounds logical... Letter13
people care about game ratings? The majority, no. But it's a guideline for parents who want to screen video games before they give them to their 6 year old kid. Basically you only need to be concerned with ratings if: A. You are the sort of person who takes offense to violent/obscene content or B. You are a parent, and want to raise your child well.

XandoCalrissian
I think a game where I can slice someone vertically in half resulting with a lovely cross-section is M material, unless we're desensitized to gore so much now that it's acceptable for younger audiences. Letter13
You should slap the majority of CoD players then rofl The sad thing is that the majority of CoD players are kids who don't have parents who get involved with their video game life. Their parents probably buy them whatever game they ask for, as a way to 'get out of parenting.' Sadly many parents have the mindset: "If I get them the game they'll stop complaining and leave me alone." Video games are not meant to do parenting for you.
