Hud Feedback

Introductions:
So, for the uneducated who end up reading this and for the sake of conversation.
HUD = head-up display which basicly shows your ammo, shield, health and more.

My experience during combat:
So, I'm on the thick of combat killing infested that keep on pouring in, trying to make my shots count.
Naturally my eyes are focused on the crosshair and enviroment but everytime I want to check how my shield, health or ammo management is doing, my eye has to go all the way to bottom right and then top right.

I would like all the neccesary info to be "within the corner of my eye" so I can focus shooting the bad guys.
Some skills would be great if they came with their own little bars that show how they are doing, like rhino's iron skin and an active timer for skills like roar/stomp so it's easily visible when it wears off.
Would love to make the minimap bigger too.

These are rough ideas and personal preferences and I have already gotten S#&$ from these :D
Just to give a general idea what I would like to see implimented and how.
You can kinda see the evolution, I think it's starting to look reasonable.

DE knows ther hud sucks balls. but your idea is way worse! wtf. hahaha ofc Focus Shooting the bad guys whilst the half Screen is covered with number hahaha... you Need 0.2 seconds or less to look from the bottom to the top of the Screen and catch all the informations. if not, consult a doctor.

This is something along the lines how I would make mine look.

There's plenty of room for aiming the numbers are just closer.

I made it with paint and it's that big for presentation purposes.

You could give your oppinion more constructively other than "lol, numbers, you lazy, go see a doctor"

Would you want to divide the energy meter and stamina meter to the bottom left corner, so that it only takes you 0,2 seconds more?

I would actually like something similar to dead space. In almost everyway, in fact I wonder if the minimap is needed if we had a similar system to dead space. As in you hit a button and a line on the ground tells you where to go and of course their could be other lines that lead to your teammates.

 

That said it probably wont happen for one reason or another. So I did a quick sketch here:

I really dislike the glance dance and I also dislike big displays, they are not needed. This here is just an example with the health, stam, ect wrapped around the reticule. Of course I'll post something a bit better this was just a quick paint job. Personally I'd probably tilt the reticule towards the player so the info would bleed towards them.
