Stubba?

Okay so I am Mr8 in warframe, and I have been using the marelok as my sidearm for a while. I put a potato on it and it works fine, but it has gotten so monotonous.Fast forward to tonight and Im doing some ghoul missions and I get this stubba bp. I was wondering if this is a decent sidearm. I also see this quratakk as well, not really sure if they are usable or not.

They're both pretty decent, competent weapons. The Stubba is a fast SMG with a not-so-great ammo economy but great crit chance, and the Quartakk is a decent burst rifle if you want a truck-hitting burst rifle for a primary. Make both, try them out.

I typically run a marelock, but occasionally find something fun and tinker with it even after it's leveled to 30.  Stubba is a fun weapon to play with imo, I agree with Kold though, sometimes ammo economy is an issue, but I recommend you build it and give it a shot.

I'm guessing you're trying to get away from the "Pistol" style secondaries.

Stubba is a decent automatic though in comparison to Akstiletto Prime it has similar DPS but lack status to deal with armor.

Staticor might be an interesting swap. It's a strong semi-AoE projectile weapon with good DPS and status.

Mara Detron is getting a buff soon and will achieve 100% status which could prove interesting for an elemental shotgun.

Zakti and Pox are amazing Utility weapons but not really for damage output. Sadly most of the better performing secondaries are pistols.
