I'd Love To See A Crossbow.

I was actually thinking like a double shot crossbow.  Something that had two sets of limbs/strings (top/bottom).  It would rotate after 1 shot, so you could get 2 powerful shots off quick.  Another advantage is that it would remain "charged" whether it was equipped or not.  That way you can swap from side arm and fire off two powerful arrows pretty quick. 

 

The disadvantage would be reload time.

No offense, man, but a powerful 2 shot weapon with a long reload time isn't worth it, kill 2 grineer and wait for it to reload and by the time I do the room is cleared? No thank you.

Use mods to fix reload speed.

I like the idea of crossbows, I was thinking more along the lines of a single handed crossbow though (demon hunter Diablo style) would be cool akimbo wielding baby crossbows bolts flying everywhere :P

Hey man, I had the same idea. If you're looking for a crossbow, I've posted some art/concepts on a heavy type crossbow a while back that had positive feedback.
