Just An Idea I Had For A Possible New Frame; Feel Free To Criticize If That Makes You Happy

I think it would be interesting to have a frame that starts off very weak early in missions but has 3 out of the 4 abilities used to "adapt" to whatever you are fighting. Like starting off everyone in the group will have to basically protect this frame but by the end they are just a thrashing unstoppable(ish) monster. I am thinking like some sort of Frankenstein's monster for the look with an exposed-over-sized vertebrae, a lock jaw, covered in rivets & cogs. I think it would be cool if it started off almost as thin as a skeleton but using abilities could "harvest" or "absorb" body parts and armour from fallen foes to buff all of it's stats, while simultaneously bulking up the size of the frame. If it looked different based on what it got it from that would be a dream. I can cite Warhammer 40,000 as inspiration for this idea (Dark Eldar grotesques in particular), along with steampunk/cyberpunk aesthetics, and classic b horror movies. Personally I have not played all the frames (just Nova & Excalibur thus far) but as far as I know there is not one anything like this so far, and I think it would add a lot of interesting matches. Thoughts anyone?

Well there are some things that come to my mind upon reading your suggestion:

1.) What would happen in a squad formed with four of your Frames? If they're as weak as you say they are, who protects who? Does the squad fall apart entirely? I mean, you're not always going to get 1 of your Warframe and 3 other big guys to back you up :c

2.) It's way too arbitrary of an idea; doesn't really fit in with the other Warframes at the moment. If I recall correctly, every Warframe is intended to be as good as another, though there are some that are exceedingly better at certain roles, all of them should be viable on their own, not dependent on others.

The role of this frame would be to gain more power gradually (buildup power and stats). perfect for missions that get increasingly difficult over time like assassinations and defense but bad for anytime you stumble into a heavy unit or large group of mobs early on.  Have you ever tried playing a solo mission? It is much more difficult than when you have a team methinks, this is a team based game. Have you ever had a team composed of all the same frame? I find it is never very effective because everyone has the same strengths and weaknesses. I don't think it is necessarily arbitrary as all the frames have stat differences, aesthetics alluding to real world things, and effectiveness using different styles of play. I don't mean for that to be the only thing it does in a  black and white fashion (maybe the buff only starts off as a .5% increase per absorbed enemy & then a max out at some point yada yada yada), I just think it would be neat to tap into this unmarked territory for gameplay tactics. This is very viable for lore imho; as the grineer do body modifications all the time; why wouldn't one of the tenno adopt a similar ability to use on the battlefield? Obviously everything would be balanced by the time it came out as this idea is literally at the epitome of infancy.

Yes, while this is indeed a heavily co-op influenced game, it still stands that Warframes should not be overly dependent on each other. Teams should work and cover each other, utilizing the strengths of each unit to the fullest in an attempt to cover the most variable situations possible. Carrying one frame as some kind of secret weapon isn't the way to go.

The Warframes are all attributed with abilities and stats to further excel in a specific role. Loki is great utility, Ember is offensive AoE, Frost is Defensive Team Tank, Trinity is Team Cleric, etc. The way I see it, your Frame seems more fitting to a Firepower role, except for the fact that you have to buff him up throughout the mission before he starts tossing trains. If there's no one to carry him, he's simply just a fragile class that has to go on his own.

Now, if we were to steal Grineer technology and incorporate it with Tenno/Orokin attributes, that'd be some interesting Lore, but I think there's more ways to pull this off.

I appreciate the feedback, I don't mean for it to be overly dependent necessarily in the beginning; just lacking access to further potential for later game. There is a name for this role; it can be seen in just about any RPG game where characters have numerical stats. Cho'gath from League of legends comes to mind; as he devours enemies  to gradually become more powerful. In the pokemon games many moves boost stats in a round rather than damage the enemy... I meant for it to work by itself just as any other warframe would but instead of having a bunch of goody abilities from the start to go along with his squishy nature; instead dedicate some abilities to increasing his abilities and possibly making it so that you can choose what fallen foe to absorb as to send him in different "paths" based on mission circumstances. I understand what you are saying completely though.. But that is why I said I don't mean for it to be so black and white like my original post kinda sounds. He would fair just as well as any other frame solo or as a team member; he would just be playing differently. And perhaps i used too strong of words to start off like him becoming a "monster". Lol in the same way any other frame is a monster at 30 with boosted stats, mods, and maxed abilities. (not to mention weapons)

When u talked about the absorving body parts it came to my mind this image of a skill like vauban's vortex, but within your body, like you're the vortex absorving enemy units/corpses/debris from the map, or whatever and attaching it to you, like a shield, a shield made of body parts or debris/junk from the map, could be cool to add it to your main idea.

I really like that. Like corpse shields that you could build up! haha. I am excited to see what the next frame will be, and I was just pondering things that haven't been done yet looks and play style wise. This idea is still really early and unpolished, but I bet if the right person saw this they might like at least part of some of the ideas I threw out there. That would be mega fantastic if even 1% of this came to be, I have heard the Devs love getting player's suggestions after all & then incorporating them.
