PaperAlien
Someone pointed out that Corpus laser doors automatically triggered. I was wondering how well this would work if they'd directly weaponised it, like, a laser rifle that doesn't have a trigger (has to be hitscan an reasonably accurate to not be frustrating), and will automatically fire when a target is in crosshairs (essentially, a triggerbot). For balancing reasons, such a weapon would have less firepower than comparable weapons with manual triggers. ... now that I've typed it all up, it sounds pretty stupid... oh well. Thoughts? Chronodroid
Automatic Flux, that is? No from me, I'm mentally able to command my fingers to click things I hold when my eyes see enemies xD

They already have laser projectiles types within the game (on the Dera) however i agree they have to be tweaked to work like a laser. It is an absolutely brillant idea to be honest. Also the laser doors have a damage type called force fields, similar to those of thrown weapons. However to be honest i want a laser single fire rifle, or laser sniper. One that i can color the energy portion to make it the colour of the laser projectile =D
