It is meant to float & attract fish & so far the only thing doing its job is the dye. 2: Having your fish cut for resources in Cetus gives you nothing. I just wasted at least 20 fish to get nothing & I needed those resources for new bait & really don't want to waste platinum to get what I just fished out. I hope you can get a script out to give me what I missed. *EDIT* Turns out that the game had a stroke & instead just gave me back my fish. 3: Spear return after missing a fish will sometimes cause it to spin around for a moment.
