Octavia / "Melody" (Metronome) volume is inconsistent and significantly lower than the percussion and bass

After the last few patches, the volume on Octavia's Mandachord - specifically, the Melody section (produced by the Metronome ability) has very low volume that seems to fade in and out depending on nearby terrain or some other factor.

 

Reproduction for low volume: Load a song in the mandachord, and observe volume change

Reproduction for inconsistent volume: Using octavia, go to a mission and use Metronome. Observe the volume inconsistency.
