Orange Crit Chance?

So i know how to calculate the dame of the orange crit, but how do you calculate the chance of an orange crit?  My Rubico has 115% crit chance...Since you hit the threshold of 100%, does that mean i now have 15% to get an orange crit?  Thanks in advance...

Yes, the chance of an orange crit is your current crit chance -100%.

However, the moment you add a Vigilante set mod, that changes, and the calculation becomes far more complicated.

Yes, that is how it works.

Between 1 and 100% causes yellow critical hits.

101% and 200% leads to orange critical hits.

201% to 300% and up leads to red critical hits.

So a 115% critical chance means a 100% chance of dealing a level 1 critical hit (yellow) and a 15% of dealing a level 2 critical hit (orange).

A 215% chance would mean a 100% chance of dealing a level 2 critical hit and a 15% of dealing a level 3 critical hit.
