Who:  Rebecca is joined by the usual suspects Geoff, Steve, Sheldon, and Scott!

What:  It’s our fifth anniversary of Devstreams, almost to the day!  Since our Devstreams often deliver work in progress content, there’s many things that haven’t seen a release! You see our ideas sometimes the same week we come up with them, so let’s take some time this Devstream to give status Updates on “the-many-things-that-we’ve-shown-but-not-released (TMTTWSBNR for short)". Take a seat at the meeting-room table, hear some updates, and perhaps get a glimpse at the very certain future of Venus!

Adressing what has been said and the Corpus focus (perhaps) of this Devstream, shall we see more depth added to Nef Anyo and Frohd Bek? I know Anyo had some conceptibf going on!

Below are prewritten questions in the assumption Venus reveal is going to heavy in this Devstream.

In Devstream 62, concepts and models were shown of Corpus crewman having giant jet packs with large arms and guns. Will those be finally fully developed and be put into the open world?

What shall we get in terms of backstory for this landscape? More fleshed out Corpus Guilds/families?
 
How will Venus Openworld amend errors of PoE, a landscape that ended up getting a 6.5 rating from the community? What have you learned, and what mistakes will you attempt to fix in this landscape?
 
Scrambuses; Scrambuses have problems of no visual nullification, large health pools, speed, and high damage. Will this be addressed?
 
What modular system will be revealed? MOAs? Detron pistols?

What is your goal for frames with multiple damage-dealing skills in one kit, like Ash's Shuriken and Bladestorm, or Ember's Fireball and World on Fire? Generally speaking, players will favor the most efficient use of energy (ie both ultimates), putting such skills in competition with one another and removing cohesion from their kits.

Recent frame designs and revisits, like Gara and Oberon, focus on creating kit synergy by means of combining two abilities to create a hidden third effect, like bonus damage or buffs (ie casting Reckoning or Renewal on targets in Hallowed Ground). As a result of these "hidden" effects, players are often unaware of the full breadth of frames' abilities without using out-of-game resources to inform themselves. Is there any concern that recent designs may become too complex for players?

Imagine this everyday scenario for Tenno:
Your Sentinel is your only source of Vacuum; without it, you spend no small part of the mission staring at the floor. When your Sentinel dies, the only way to get it back is to die and spend a Revive.
As developers, how can you address this scenario?

Volt is a movement-oriented caster Warframe, with a run speed boost, a damage boost that charges as he moves, and a mobile shield. So what exactly is the intent of giving Electric Shield a cost that burns more energy the faster you move?

With Khora able to switch her damage type at-will, will we be seeing the same (and a new passive) for Chroma in the near future?
The recent changes to Spectral Scream seem like the first step towards letting our dragon fly.

The lineup of starting frames presently includes two different "casters" with similar gameplay niches. Why did Volt replace Loki in the starting lineup, rather than a more diverse option like Ash or Oberon?

When can we see Kuva Endless missions?

When can we see meaningful Grind for riven mods instead of a slot machine by locking stats and providing real progression towards our gear?

When can we see content that actually tests the strengths of the player? Riven Mods have no meaning in any part of this game except looking cool in the Simulacrum.

When can the Void and Direlect be more than just a place for Argon/Mutagen Samples?

How about: 

  • new Clan management system;
  • fields for "Clan description"(Clan Rules), except for the already available "motd"
  • more flexible and variable "Hierarchy and Roles" system;
  • stricter access to the Dojo and Labs (to avoid players who join the clan, buy BP's and leave).

With the pet MOAs you showed off last Devstream, will they be released with the Venus tile-set or will they be implemented in their own separate update? In addition, since I know many people will be wondering and asking about this as they near release (although this might be a given since Universal Vacuum is a common request for other pets), will they have Vacuum like Sentinels do?
