0 (XBOX)Primal Hollow Posted February 21, 2018 Share Posted February 21, 2018 (edited) Well, i know for xbox you need an adapter of sorts, but on xbox the thing you can do with a keyboard (without the adapter) is to be a simple keypad, and it doesn't let you use it in game. I know how to use the mouse and keyboard with the PS4, just not how to play Warframe with it. I take it Warframe is one of the games that doesn't support it? Isn't the opposite true? Like I said, Warframe was originally only on the PC. They had to change a lot of stuff (aka do "extra work") to have it work with controllers, not the other way around. Ironically, it's because it's more work to do so. The APIs to support input from keyboard and mouse isn't inherent and universal in the platform like it is on the PC. It's a little more accessible on Xbox in principle, but still more work to accept input from it and allow the game to function with it. The client functionality to handle that input and make it work in game, plus the UI for customisation of that, is also likely stripped out for efficiency too...and might actually then require more work to make customisation controller friendly in order to pass certification requirements!
