Console vet: charge attack changes? cant slide during charge attack anymore?

Hi! i was once a console player with warframe as my only source for entertainment on the PS4. i left, focusing more on school and ended up getting a decent PC. i've sold my old console and use the money to get some sweet platinum for the PC version of the game.

so, besides the obvious, ive noticed a few things, but specifically changes to charge attacks. on console, you could use both slide and charge attack together to get a lunge attack, so long as you activated slide during the animation of a charge attack. im using a controller on PC now, and i am simply unable to use this attack.

was it patched out? i've also noticed that you can no longer block while using charge attack either, which is a completely understandable patch, but i used the charge + slide attack a lot while i had the game on console.

On PC we can't do that. Charge attacks cannot be combined with anything else and slide attacks are a combo in themselves. Blocking is its own mechanic and allows you to move while executing nonmoving combos with CC.
