Is it just me... or does Lotus sound REALLY &!$$ed off at the beginning of these event missions?

"These Corpus Scouts think they are safe in the void... but that is a false assumption. Bring them to me..."

Now don't get me wrong, I like a little emotion to these sorts of things. But last I checked, Lotus was an AI in an android body. Unless of course the Orokin managed to devise a method to create "Feeling" AI, of course.

Mad enough to say these. And with so much noise and gunfire, it does sound this way.

How do I be you?

Work in the gaming/journalism industry, go to E3, nearly trample Rebecca by accident while walking into the Razor booth on day one, apologize, realize who it is aaaaand promptly lose your S#&$ and fanboy just a little, book a time to do interviews, and then just end up chatting for a half hour... then walk over to the PS4 booth and stare up at the massive circle-shaped screen showing "The Call" trailer, and then looking down when it's done to see Steve and Scott standing there ALSO watching the trailer...

More geeking out, thanking me for being a Grand Master, chatting about mechanics... getting asked what *I* would do to fix Iron Skin (I'm a Rhino player), and doing first interview... then on day two, DO the originally set up interview, hang out some more, then on the last day, ensure that your final stop literally as E3 is forcing people out the door on the last day is to see the the Warframe crew, geek out for just a little more, shake hands, exchange business cards, add people to Warframe in-game friendslist, follow each other's twitters etc etc, and then head home.

I have questioned Lotus' motivations for a long time. I still believe that the Lotus is an evil organization that is using the Tenno for their own agendas. Why do I think this, you ask? Well, for one, after every boss you kill the lotus says "Assassination contract complete". CONTRACT, if we are with the good guys why are we ASSASSINATING instead of arresting or foiling their plans.

Also, we go into the void to steal Orokin artifacts. Why are we stealing from the Orokin, a race known to be the good guys. That's just a few of the many red flags I have seen from Lotus.

Based on Lotus' tone and choice of words, I often wonder whether Tenno are the good guys or if we're the bad guys trying to rule over the world. Although, I didn't find her to be any more evil than usual.

I mean, Lotus even insults the Grineer for no reason, that's probably the only reason that they attack us. "Heavy Grineer approaching"

But... Tenno aren't the good guys. We're not police or anything of the like. We're killers. We're space ninjas. We do ninja things... and not in the ancient-asian traditional way... in the hyper-modern ninja way of contract killings and secret missions. We are a neutral organization that works for whomever will pay us.

I didn't sign up to be a Goody-Two-Shoes-Space-Ninja... I signed up to be an @$$-kicking, head-lopping, wall running, knife throwing, face kicking ninja in space. And that's just what we are.

We're not the heroes this solar system wants...

We're the Space Ninjas it needs.
