Handshake emote doesn't work anymore?

Playing warframe with my friends as usual and giving my friendly tenno a good handshake of appreciation is something I like to do often, but recently I haven't been able to get the animation to play at all after many attempts testing it an yet nothing... I know it's not the biggest issue however it is the most effective and affectionate way to show you and your fellow tenno that their help was appreciated and welcome anytime. 

Sidenote... Maybe add other similar emotes like coop dance emote or a hug?  That would be nice. Thanks anyway

I haven’t been able to get the handshake to work for a good couple of months, I just end up standing opposite someone with an outstretched hand. I’m also on PS4 though, so can’t tell if this affects all platforms or not

What you described is exactly how it was for me, it's kinda awkward both sides just like 'oh guess not' and go your separate ways

I swear it was working before the Plains update maybe even after but I'm unsure. Any ideas when this bug started?
