kavat gene code

Hey guys, I have a question

If I go to derelict mission in a party of 4 and other players scan kavats and get a gene code, do I get the code aswell?

nope but if you scan it you can get a chance to get one.

If i scan and get a code you wont get it. If you scan and get a code and you kill it well i will never get it ;(

at least last time i checked

Farming solo atm, but rng isn't on my side and 4 ppl means more kavats haha

try a vauban with a bastille or an sleeping arrow ivara. Its gonna be way easyer ^.^

Last time I played Oberon's passive made kavats your buddies. Very useful for scanning them. Granted I haven't played in a loong while and Oberon's passive may be different but if it is still the same it could come in handy. Of course this won't fix RNG but it will help whenever you find the cats.

A wild kavat will either give a code or it won't.  So if someone in the squad gets one, then every one will assuming they all scan it.
