Argon Scope vs. Eidolons

Just wondering if Argon Scope is a wasted mod on the eidolons... I was told to run it on my vectis prime for the eidolons because the limbs count as headshots. I wouldn't think that would be the case, but I figured I would see what the community thought before I completely ruled it out. Thanks in advance.

Limbs dont count as headshots but shooting it's supposed head well trigger a headshot and you can still benefit from argon scope after shooting its 'head'
