Octavia Somachord should have all 12 notes

I think the somachord on Octavia and the ability to make your own music to play to others is fantastic. But as a somehow adept in music, I must say that being limited to 5 different sounds on each instrument is not good. 

Adding Notes to somachord would be fantastic, and this does not essentially mean all of the instruments, for example drums.

I can understand the fact that Octavia's abilities are based on timed actions on the notes and therefore harder to program, but still, would we not be much more into the frame, if we had western music at our disposal?
