This would not be good because the point in having a build is so you are prepared, if you can come unprepared and prepare after the mission starts, then what is the point.

You might as well ask for the arsenal to be available while in mission....

probably a problem as you are not connected to network during game only when you leave so would be a spaghetti mess - if you change your load out which item will get your mastery rank etc.  (would be double the information and a million ways to screw up).

This is not Final Fantasy XI. 

Gearswapping is probably the worst idea I've ever heard of in a game. There's absolutely no reason to allow you to change in mission or in combat, especially when we can easily become strong enough to overcome almost anything in a single loadout.

Plan ahead, come prepared.

but that'd make the Sanctuary Onslaught mode too easy, like... I go from fighting Grineer, to Corpuus to Infested to Corrputed but if I can switch I can just have me melee built for Grineer, Corpus and Corrupted then my primary and secondary built for Infested and Sentients. It's no fun.

Actually, I would like to see this for at least warframe mod setup. Sometimes I get bored with a playstyle in the middle of a long game, and wish that I could change my warframe's mod setup (config A / B / C).

Maybe it could be implemented as something costly, e.g. there's a gear item (the ones that can only be used in-game) called "Mod Setup Switcher" that is not so cheap to make.
