ThePresident777
I don't know how, but, Warframe was not in my list of instsalled games in my steam client this morning, and it was last night. Yet, it was in my Start-->All Programs-->Steam. When I clicked on the Warframe link there, steam began to download and install it. What is going on? Anybody had this before? TheCometCE
restart steam, this is a glitch I've seen a few times, usually saying I have a ton of my games uninstalled.
Paptimus
i thought this would be a rant topic saying how you uninstalled the game because you were angry at it glad i was wrong
ThePresident777
Restarting steam was the first thing I did and no change. Let's see if the re-installed Warframe works. i thought this would be a rant topic saying how you uninstalled the game because you were angry at it glad i was wrong That will not happen unless I find a game that is even less like ME3 and has even faster action and no silly third person blocking my crosshairs. I hate plodding games.
LxLawliet
If memory serves, Steam stores data of all installed games in so called "appmanifests". One example would be "appmanifest_230410", which is the file for Warframe (the number is the ID of the game). In some cases, these files become corrupted or disappear, in which case Steam redownloads the entire game. However, I do not know why they corrupt/disappear in the first place. Speculations go from sudden power outage (with the most recent work being lost) over viruses to Steam simply failing. direcyphre
Would also be prudent to check your program files, under steamapps/common/ and see if there is a full warframe folder present. Also topic title could use a question mark to indicate a thread about confusion instead of rage.
