Phobos Bosses Map:screen Blackouts

When I played lliad,Phobos and arrived to Krill and Grandpa

My screen blackouted but I heard only gunfighting.

Did someone experienced that too?

yep had to abort the mision.

Yup. Only fix that did work for me was alt+f4

Same happened on my 2nd run of 4.

It's not actually a blackout cause you can see a little bit on lit areas.

My buddy told me that you can fix it if you fall outside the map, but i didn't tested it yet.

I have gotten this unfortunate bug happen to me about 4 times, twice this morning (8/15 0830-0915) All I would get is the chatter from the Lotus in a black screen. It happens as you enter the room when someone has started the fight with the bosses. It is the moment when the game forces you to watch the glitched out video telling you that you are at the Bosses... DUH. And, it can happen many tiles away, I was stuck trying to figure out that triple bridge area that makes the minimap go nuts...thanks for that btw (sarcasm), and one a Rhino made it past all of us and started the boss fight. Blacked me out about what I would say 5-6 tiles away from the boss area.

Nothing I could do but abort at that point.

Please stop making areas that are just useless like that triple bridge area, you fall down that trap hole and we have to go all the way around again... some parts of it, if lucky starting at the top, you can wallrun. But if it get's you started at the bottom of the bridges it is not possible to wallrun and you have to go through 3 useless tiles that offer nothing but a possibility of falling into a hole and making you have to make your way up all over again. Your teammates will NOT wait for you, and if they get to the boss...hey that little video of yours showing your bosses Blacks you out... so please...fix those 3-4 tiles with the connecting bridges.

Ricoshot... No... it is completely dark... nothing, no minimap, no sounds except the bosses talking and Lotus talking. Only reason I knew what was going on outside is because I was with my friends on Teamspeak.

It has also happened to me once but I think I got down and someone revived me and it was fixed.

I've personally never have gotten this issue, but I know my friends who were playing with me did. If it means anything, I was the host for all of so 20 or so runs on Illiad.

 

The effect itself looks cool, but easy to understand why it would be frustrating.

Not cool at all, the two frames people uploaded you can at least see edges, I mean if I had that I could probably keep on fighting.  The spot were many get stuck is mid-scene where it fades to black and just stays that way.  I tried updating the video settings to see if I could get anything to show but it is just a black screen.

There are two types of blackout:
1. Where the global shader messes up and overly contrasts the screen, as in Riccoshot's screenshot.

2. When you get locked in the boss cinematic.  You cannot see or hear, your HUD is gone (apart from the chat box), but your character still responds to your actions if you have other players to guide you.
