While I understand that Steve is the creative director and therefore dictates where the warframe story is going, the time it takes for him to write new storyline quests in-between working on other new content does seem to be causing delays with new updates.  Would it not be better to hire someone that specialises in writing the story and lore that can focus on it entirely to make sure there are no retcons or loopholes in the plot, along with keeping the storyline quests flowing at an even pace and reducing delay times?

Also will you ever fix the many bugs and problems with Titania?

Just asking but can you at least consider giving us more free cosmetics and landing craft decorations.It's nice that you added free helmet blueprints in mission alerts, ayatan sculptures and decorations obtainable through time consuming quests but that's all.Maybe consider giving us cosmetics obtainable through special quests or maybe consider blueprints for landing craft decorations,for example maybe you could add a blueprint where we could use a certain amount of credits and argon crystals to make an argon pegmatite, same goes for other resource decorations such as alloy drums and morphics stabilizers.We just want the game to be a bit more fun instead it being boring to only farm stuff to make weapons.It's DEMOTIVATING.

In the initial release of Sanctuary onslaught you stated that the focus multiplier when going through the conduit will steadily increase to 16x (convergence orb being 8x) now with the increased effeciency drain how are we ever meant to maintan it or sustain it?

What exactly is the plan for Elite Onslaught? The more you update it, the more it seems you want to cater to the meta try-hards, without actually giving them a reason to play. To someone like me, the mode is really fun, but frustrating by virtue of ridiculous efficiency decay. But it seems to be a mode specifically made for people like me, who want to slaughter thousands and see numbers everywhere, not for the people who actually wanted this mode.

So, what's the plan? Will it ever be rewarding, tough and unapproachable enough for people like me not to be able or willing to play it, but satisfying enough for this small population of veterans? Or will it be made into a sane mode where you don't need to abuse meta to be able to get past zone 4 (thanks for that, by the way, I could get to zone 6 before), and will be just a fun, arcade chill-out mode as you originally advertised it as?

Also, please tell Simaris it's a lot more efficient to kill using abilities than without using them, thank you!

First off, thank you guys for all the hard work.

All the recent additions (Kuva endless, Onslaught, etc) have been quite refreshing and fun. They've sure had their problems on launch, but any major idea naturally takes time to be ironed out, which is why it's been really nice to see all the recent rapidfire bugfixes and polishwork coming out for Onslaught, which will hopefully sort out the mode's current issues in no time and make it something both devs and the community are happy with.

Also the allnighter the guys pulled when they were supposed to be already off enjoying their weekend is much appreciated.

That said, my question for the couchcrew is somewhat unrelated to the recent major discussion topics:

Current Veldt model, just with the top barrel cropped out and a magazine added to the gap above the trigger. Also stylistically fits surprisingly well with the Soma.

As explained in a recent thread I posted, while Veldt is a nice gun, a good chunk of the community were expecting it to be a sniper, and there's been multiple feedback threads since its release arguing the point that a togglabe ADS/Zoom feature would've been much more useful and unique on a sniper. So:

Is there any chance that Veldt could be reviewed and a rework into sniper class considered?

And the much more important question, with fashionframe being the true endgame and all that: and my main motivation for suggesting Veldt rework to sniper
Is there any chance we could get the "scope-less" Veldt model (above picture) added as a new semi-auto rifle? (lever-action please?)

imho, the main body of the model on its own looks too good, and not having it ingame as its own gun would be such a wasted opportunity. I know I for one would immediately replace my beloved Latron Prime with this thing, if it ever gets added, regardless of stats.

Also, while on the subject of the Veldt, props to the sound team. it sounds absolutely amazing.

Do you guys read responses on the Developer Workshop?

I can understand it could be difficult, considering how damage 2.5 went down, after you guys had put quite a lot of work into it.

But endless Kuva and Onslaught make us think Developer Workshop is just a 5 minute warning you are gonna do something the community will disslike.

Is your apparent disregard of community feedback, subject to change?

Would it be possible to get some feedback on why, the responses on Developer Workshop get completely ignored, before deployment, in the future?

Wow another 2 weeks have gone by allready?

Let's see what i can re-use from last time:

- Can we get a hammock for our Operators in the new Orbiter room?

- Are the Proto-skins (which are now seperated from Deluxe skins) meant to showcase the in story chain of progress that created the Warframes in their current form or do the artists now just make the designs up randomly with the theme of "crude early Warframes"? Just want to make sure we aren't picking for lore where there is none to be found.

- Will resource gathering on the next plains (Venus?) require all new tools or will some Plains of Eidolon tools still work there too?

- With the quests all apperently focused on a single Tenno the universe revolves around, it often feels to me like the Tenno as a group/faction are rather unexplored. Are there any plans for a quest which will expand the Tenno faction/group?

Some new ones:

- Any events or tac alerts on the horizon? I guess Plains of Venus and The Sacrifice are currently eating up too much time and effort for that, right?

- Last devstream you showcased us a Corpus themed APC which you plan to put on the Plains of Venus as faster way for players to traverse it. Why didn't you decide to just go with hover vehicles, which could use the currently existing Dargyn piloting animations instead?

- Joke question: Why give players an APC for the plains of Venus rather than just a ridable oversized Hyena proxy?

Changes which will make onslaught more fun

1. Keep the old scaling because it gave the feel of horde mode with easier to kill enemies and a lot of focus (only fun way to earn focus)

2. Give rewards every round instead of just every 2 rounds

3. Start focus orb booster from 1st round instead of second round

4. New rewards need to be added. eg more synthetic eidolon shard, kuva , arcanes so the game can branch out and less burnout occurs by playing the same mode continuously

5. Increase enemy spawn rate so it feels truely a horde mode and decrease time per round to 1min 40 sec

Questions

What chyanges do we see in focus accumulation because it is in a really bad state with the nerf in focus gain with update 22.18.7?????

When do we zephyr prime trailer?

when do we get hydroid prime trailer?

What about the sacrifice quest because it been a very long time and we would like to know the state of its development

 

Thank you, you made a great game...  i will always be a wellwisher and a critic so... fix the onslaught mode quickly unlike the poe mission whose changes came quite late about reward in every turn and all that

Is the upcoming UI rework just a facelift, or will it bring functionality improvements too?

Some suggestions, if I may:

  • Chat could use a "one tab - multiple channels" feature, like most online games do.
  • Party/Group system needs improvements to be less of a headache when mixing friends with public matchmaking (Overwatch does it well).
  • Syndicate repping should be streamlined by separating it from the sigils in favor of a tickbox. Way less annoying to swap.

I only sold off 2 of the old starter Archwing items, but doesn't change the fact that it is ridiculous that you can't remake them by just buying either them or a blueprint via the market.

Why can they even BE sold in the first place?

Now that the damage rework has been postponed, is there a chance that the problem of "mandatory mods" will see some attention again? Modding is one of my favorite things in Warframe, but if you want to play efficiently you'll have a set of certain mods that are on every item regardless of what you want to do with them which limits build diversity massively.

2. Can you please give a reason as to why She has dual swords as her 'signature' melee weapon and not a whip ( would have been nice considering you removed the Exalted one )

Onslaught
1. I get it's supposed to be hard but can you tell us how Efficiency is calculated? Sometimes killing 5 enemies equal 5% and in the same zone killing 20 enemies equal 1% 
2. The decay rate needs to stop as soon as the round is over and enemies stop spawning while the conduit loads in... because if you are using (or playing with people that are using) slow computers it can cause you to lose 20-40% Efficiency (sometimes more) through no fault of the players.

3. Khora's Acquisition - Can you give a reason as to why you didn't make a small quest through the Onslaught to get her parts rather than just have them in the drop table? It would have also given people the info Simaris tells you about Venari and HOW Simaris has her parts up front rather than the players having to ask him which judging by the forums most did not.

General Issues
1. Zaws and Nikanas - The Nikana Zaw can't have it's sheath colored separately like normal Nikana's, also it's ribbon is all messed up and accessories placed on it are messed up as well. Just generally can you please make it so that when we color Nikana's the Frame unsheathes it so we can actually see the blade being colored?
2. Is a foundry queue ever going to be put in place?
3. Can we please get a way to make Syndicate Sigils completely invisible? ( because fashion frame is a thing and these can ruin it )
4. Could we possibly have a way to edit attachment placements a bit?
