List of Various Model/Texture Bugs (23.8.2)

Instead of flooding the forums with numerous bugfix threads that will not be seen, I will compile what I have found here into this one thread.

If possible, @[DE]Megan @[DE]Rebecca @[DE]Steve could you please forward this to the appropriate departments?

Let the bug-listing commence!

 

-Equinox and Ivara have raging hard-ons (Ivara has an interesting backwards hard-on as well) The cloth physics on their waists jut outwards and it honestly looks terrible.

 

 

-Trinity Prime has a huge invisible lump under her left skirt pleat and Trinity's battleskirt tassels bend and jut outwards (like Equinox & Ivara above)

 

 

-Mag Prime is STILL missing some gold areas on her waist. Seam is evident on her sides. Right-most picture is from a render from when she was released, showing her without this bug.

-Harrow has a brightly colored "dong" outline behind his front garments.

 

 

-Tigrias somehow got it's PBR texture reverted. FIXED

 

 

 

-The TOP Paracyst limb does NOT match the rest of the energy on the weapon (currently set to Infested Green)

 

 

-Paris Prime's arrows have a broken texture on the arrowheads.

 

 

-Burston Prime has no texture or lighting on the magazine.

 

 

-Broken Scepter has a visible particle anchor(?) showing as a gold orb.

 

 

-Endura's decorative bits on the blade aren't all using the right texture (Some are, they are in bronze)

 

 

-Hirudo has one gauntlet that is WAY too small.

 

 

-Mios is using the Lacera's chord instead of the correct Infested one.

 

 

-Hydroid is broken texture-wise. Also missing uncolorable detail sections (Underside of cloth pieces and biceps/ torso sides, legs, sole of feet, palms) Top Spoiler = Broken / Bottom Spoiler = Correct(?)

 

 

 

-Rhino Prime is missing some textures under his arm, very visible seam.

 

 

-Nyx Nemesis skin, since it got the PBR treatment, has had the Channeling effect applied to the wrong tintmask. Veins/arteries should light up, not the steel flesh. Left = Current(Broken) Right = Pre-PBR(Fixed)

 

 

 

-Equinox (Night Form) has way too much of the Tertiary color channel covering the Primary, making her look one color instead of having Tertiary fade upwards into Primary. Normal Equinox also has this issue. It can be seen better if you set both Primary and Secondary to Black. Tertiary gets mixed in all over the torso regardless of it being tied to Night Form. FIXED

 

 

 

-Mirage (and those who use her Noble animation set) still need backbraces. Their waists are twisted and tilted, causing the hips to jut outwards.

 

 

 

-Mirage Prime's texture breaks after using Eclipse.

 

-Some early-generation PBR Primes need to get updated gold/metallic materials to match newer Primes. They currently have very dull gold/metal in contrast to the newer items with dark spots and sharp detail in the textures. These are:

Ash Prime

Nova Prime

Volt Prime

Boltor Prime

Latron Prime

Soma Prime

Vectis Prime

Hikou Prime

 

-Tekko aren't aligned properly to Warframe hands (grips appearing above knuckles)

-Kama (Dual) have their default colors set to Skana's.

-Arca Titron's shaft is stretched as a result of lengthening it giving it oblonged detailing. Perhaps give us our tiny Corpus hammer back?

-Sibear's Accent color channel does absolutely nothing.

-Tysis' tail is misaligned and clips through the top of the weapon.

-Nusku Pistol (Ember Vermillion) skin doesn't work for dual pistols, while the Perla Pistol (Mesa Presidio) works for both single and dual pistols. I call this a bug because in promotional material for the Ember Vermillion Collection it shows it being used on Dual Pistols.

 

 

 

-Opticor Day of the Dead skin covered with inconsistent tintmasks resulting in questionably lit detailing. Some of the detail channels appear much darker than the rest.

 

-Hydroid (continued)

After taking extensive time to compare and contrast pre and post PBR Hydroid I've found these issues as well as the ones above. Some of these have been listed above but these have been made to be shown better. Everything in the following pictures encircled in RED should be parts/detailing that should NOT be colored. How Hydroid lost so much detail in his PBR conversion is beyond me.

 

 

-Saryn Prime's Toxic Lash particles only come from her right hand instead of both.

-Saryn Prime gets covered in a glowing broken texture when Toxic Lash is activated.

-Latron is missing energy texture post-PBR.

You could add the Sybaris Prime horns, which have two positions, change them arbitrarily. There's supposed to be a holstered position (horns down) and a "in use" position (Horns up), but they interchange because they can *shrug*

Also the bumps on Oberon Prime, the topic of Excalibur Prime, the ones for Rhino, Ember and Nyx, the missing Orokin text due the PBR conversion on a few of them (that Mynki overlooked for reasons I guess, because new Primes still do come out with Orokin text where appliable :P)...

There is SO much stuff that if I was rich I'd pay DE directly so they could get more people to finally get these done lol

Seer have its full textures displayed at its back.  Would like some sort of a screen or energy glow there instead ( there were a real screen before. It showed zoomed in image of where you aim).  This bug is also very old.

You want a warframe thats littered with both a bad low poly model and messed up textures? Look no longer. Gersemi valkyr skin has arived.

Realy dont need to post pictures as one quick glance will show you all the broken textures that this skin is currently suffering from, not only that but her horrible butt hibox combined with badly placed syandanas makes you never want to put a syandana on this frame. and for a deluxe in which some of us had to buy when it was a limited skin i expect it to actually work at a decent quality.

Mirage Prime textures bug also when using hall of mirrors, reverting the color map to that of the normal version

Still Mesa's deluxe pistol skins miss their muzzleflashes. Also, position of the mag bugs out on certain guns (VERY visible when using it on a pandero, can toss some screens here)

Dark Split-Sword still cannot accept custom skins/stances. (Assuming this is the correct dump to post this into.)

I'm fairly sure they are aware but they just can't assign it to someone because other stuff is taking priority. I have a hard time believing this kind of topics go unnoticed by DE after so long. Same with your thread on the Lacera/Mios issue.
