You are kind of right, the thing is, I like to play the game, but I for example, have no fun when it comes to just grind, I like to experiment often and come up with interesting loadouts, the game feels like a skinner box when I am not on schedule, in my case I keep missing Cetus night time a lot because it lasts less than day time, which means the only interesting (not challenging or difficult, more like dynamic) part of the game is locked behind a time wall for me.
