PsychedelicSnake
It doesn't fit Nyx's theme to just all out kill everything instantaneously. Not every frame should have a "Press 4 to kill everything instantly" ability. The only real problem with her ultimate at the moment is the aggro. Beyond that, it's fine. Of which there is none, and the damage done currently is very bad (simply because she gets no aggro, so you have to rely on getting the enemies attention, or stray shots. A good way to fix that... get a Loki to put a Decoy within the bubble so everything starts trying to hit it :P Not a perfect fix, but it's a make-shift until there is a real aggro. PeripheralVisionary
Note the word "If". I didn't really think of anything about the attack itself, just the death animation, similar to how Miasma works with Saryn Edited August 14, 2013 by PeripheralVisionary
Syllabea
I think it should be like Nova's Antimatter Drop, but with a larger multiplier and it hits everything around her, not just what was shooting her.
-Nerf-Herder-
Cerebral hemorrhage -Cost 100 power Range 10-12-14-18 meters Duration 2-3-5-8 seconds 2-3 hits per secondCauses all nearby enemies to take critical hits to the head with a chance of double damage. Heavy units have a higher chance of resiting but still will clutch their heads in pain. If an enemy dies from this power their heads will explode or if too graphic they collapse to the floor like a lifeless doll. Only Works on organic life, Moa's and ospreys are immune to damage but will show signs of confusion when power is active (i.e taking pot shots in random directions or flying into walls) Percentages for hitsNormal Damage 20% chance per tickCritical Damage 70% chance per tickDouble critical 10% per tick Affect on battlefieldAll enemies in range will stop shooting, and will either grab their heads in pain or enter stun lock animation, enemies not affected (ie. Moa's) will show signs of confusion by walking sideways or taking pot shots in random directions. The player will be shown with their fingers on either side of their temples while a green (or chosen player color) emits in big oscillating circles in an outward direction. Player is free to move after short animation and will continue to take damage from enemies that are out of range or enter the area after the effect has been cast. Sound Would be a ringing sound much like the one you get in your ears after a large explosion. When casting the sound drowns out all other noise in the game including music (all other sounds fade away) The ringing will fade away when the casting is complete and normal sound will slowly fade back. in. Just an idea of what the power should have been.
saltshaker42
Personally, I never used absorb when I played as Nyx. I'd just use chaos for CC, and mind control when I want a heavy gunner/bombard/napalm buddy.
fishworshipper
Nyx has MAXIMUM aggro when she uses Absorb. Stop talking about the aggro. The real issue is that cover, which is something that enemies are ALWAYS in, completely nullifies Absorb's damage.
