No Rewards, Mission Log: "under Threshold"

I'm playing with a friend of mine and every so often, he gets a message in his Mission Log that says "Under Threshold", and it won't let him move on to the next map in the chain.  He's doing damage and getting kills, which is what we thought the problem might be, but he's done over 20% damage and kills on ones this message has popped up on, his frame and weapons are now 30, so I'm more than a little confused.  It's been very frustrating as we're trying to get him to the point where he can do various missions with us and this is rather getting in the way, especially since we're running out of lower level weapons and frames to play with him.  He has filed a ticket for support and so far has gotten no responses.  I posted in players helping players but so far nothing anyone suggested has resolved the issue.

 

Some further information:

 

When picking up in-game rewards during the mission itself, sometimes he will get the same mods and resources we do, and sometimes he won't.  If I see something pop up as, say, Morphics or Control Modules, he'll get something else entirely, like Rubedo or Nanospores.  If I get a rare Fusion Core, he'll get Hellfire.  Things like that.  The rest of my friends and I all seem to get pretty much the same stuff across all of our drops, but he'll only get the same thing maybe two thirds of the time.

 

It's making it very frustrating for him to play, since some missions, like mobile defenses, are very difficult for a lone player to do, and you need to complete them to move on.  We can't effectively leapfrog him to get him to the areas where he can get materials for new frames or weapons because half of the time we do, he gets the Under Threshold message and it doesn't count as completed for him, putting us back at square one.

Why do people think it makes them clever, unique, trendy or cool to make use of the most irritatingly difficult to read forum posts? Like black text on the grey background. Or light grey text on a white background. If you want people to help you, don't make it difficult for them to do so.

It sounds as though he has some sort of issue with maintaining a stable connection - he should be getting the exact same mods now. Either that or he's somehow managed to run an older version of the Warframe client... back before they standardized mod drops. If it's not something like that, I have no idea what the problem could be, and DE probably doesn't either.

But seriously, make your posts readable.

I agree that he should have made it more readable.

But, it's probably not his fault.

 

There's been plenty of times when I've done the same due to copy + pasting from somewhere else, and it isn't immediately apparent that it will turn out like that.

Still, you can just highlight it, and BAM, readable text.

No, it's his fault. Even when you post things that you may have copy-pasted or even simply don't turn out the way you thought, it's not like the forum doesn't show you your post immediately after it has been posted. It should be immediately apparent that it is difficult to read, and that's what the Edit button is for.

I know you can just highlight it, but seriously I'm less inclined to try helping people when they don't... to put it in a cliche manner, 'help me help you!'

It's not about trying to be cool or unique, I was trying to save time by copying and pasting a part of my post from another post on this forum, pulling from the quote-box point of fact so that I didn't have the formatting issue I was getting when I tried copying it from the post itself.  You'll have to forgive me because I've never used this forum software before and don't see any options to normalize the text, and in the post box here it looked just fine.  Since I don't know how it did that in the first place, I don't know how to UNdo it.

 

Hell, the only options I see for editing the post are bold, italicize, underline, and strikethrough.

There, had to recopy it and post it as plaintext, since the text editor of the forum is "intelligent" but gives virtually no options to manage it.

 

My friend is still having the same problem, and none of us have been able to replicate it.
