XandoCalrissian
Bit too similar to Nyx don't you think?
BigBadHunkyDaddy
We have Nyx. Now you want Nex? Good idea! They won't have to think of names for the next few frames! Nox will come after that and then Nax, Nex, Nux and Nyx's sister Nix.
Firetempest
Liked the latin necis more
Ganpot
I hope they name it something absurdly normal, like Tom. Or even better, give it a female name, like Claire.

Archwizard
It's kinda fitting, but... The irony of the name is that before the Necro warframe was officially revealed, lots of threads were condemning the frame's abilities because, as someone who focuses on raising enemies from the dead in a game that rather lacks graveyards to pull from, he'd fill a niche that was very close to Nyx. I for one always saw him as more of a damage/pet focused frame while Nyx is more focused on CC, but that's just me. A name like Nex though is... literally one letter off, and likely wouldn't deter the former speculation. As an alternative, might I propose something from classical mythology, such as a god of death or the underworld? I know it's cliche, but it's fitting. Personally, I'm holding out for Thanatos. It just seems kind of... poised. Edited August 15, 2013 by Archwizard
General_Krull
Why not call him Thomas Macabee? He fits the part.
Ganpot
fixed Well, I suppose they could name it Jamal. Or Wei, if you want to go Chinese with it.
smithf
frankly speaking, I was thinking that the ability to "raise dead" fits more as an enemy. E.g. Grineeer Necro who animates the cybernetic parts of fallen Grineer troops to rise and fight beyond death...

BigBadHunkyDaddy
fixed Why do you have to bring racism into the discussion is beyond me... back on topic: Since we already have Loki, why not just name it Hades?
Argus_Rex
Its a bit close to nyx just like the others said. So no.
smithf
If the Grineer could raise the dead, why would they need to mass produce clones? Are zombie clones better than normal zombies? not really raise dead. just temporary reanimating the cybernetic parts to do last bit of damage, before shutting down permanently, or performing a "corpse explosion" by overloading those parts. I doubt the Grineer recycle the cyborg parts. probably easier to fit new standard ones to the clones in a factory :)
