you might want to state when you last played the game so that viewers of this post can estimate how much or what specific content you have missed and what has changed since you last played. Sorry i cant help more than that but ive not yet bought platinum for warframe

1. Buy enough slots to last you for a while, and then buy potatoes for things you like. You can also get some color packs if you want...

2. When it comes to primaries, Ogris/Flux Rifle/Lanka/Boltor/Anything armor ignoring. As for secondaries, Acrid/Despair/A good pistol with 90% AP damage. If you just returned, you missed a rather OP pistol mod. (Lethal Torrent, 60% multishot and fire rate)

3. That depends. What for? There's lots of situations.

Thanks to all.

I can't seem to find some of the weapons you're mentioning in the market. Are there specific ways to purchase/build them?

I read the exclusive mods were added to drop in certain areas, are there certain mods that won't ever be available again (not a fan of this if true)?.

be careful tenno there is now wild live in the universe master your skills to defend yourself and overwhelm them

But in all seriousness, save your plat for now, unless you want some of the newer cosmetic stuff. There are (as always) a few weapons that are highest dps as of this moment but it sounds like, based on the livestream, there are some big combat mechanic changes coming in the not too distant future. Have fun with the void and welcome back!

1: Slots, colors, potatoes, forma.

2: Acrd, Lanka, Ogris

3:Just play the game and you will be back into it in no time.

Of #1 slots is correct and at least enough golden potatoes to match

Of #2 Acrid for sure is best sidearm in game(requires rank 7, found in Dojo research dept.) as far as ogris and lanka both fall a bit short during endgame waves of defense. I would suggest Flux rifle as it does greater dmage at higher waves+ cool factor is through the roof(TRUE LASER GUN)

Of #3 Find a GOOD CLAN and you will have no issues acclimating to new content.

Adding a #4 as noone may tell you these things. Nova's ult. causes enemies to take 2x damage and slows them down dramatically while at the same time infecting them with antimatter which will explode and trigger any other mobs infected with antimatter to explode upon it's death. Nova's Antimatter Drop can have it's damage increased to 999,999(damage seen to cap during wave 65 of Xini)by shooting the orb as it flies away from you(party members can help increase this damage)

Adding a #5 When events appear for the weekend DO THEM as quickly as you can as they have been providing really OP mods and or weapons and even sometimes FRAMES(looking at you Frost Prime) ps. these events ONLY appear on weekends so you may need to MAKE time if you have a hectic weekend schedule. All the events so far can be completed in approximately 3 hrs just make sure you have a good team.

If you need a clan look us up on FB Bloodvendetta or keep an eye out for my IGN:geninrising(happy to help, also our dojo is completely finished)

currently Primed Chamber is the only exclusive mod not planned to be ingame anytime soon

the most recent 3 duals from the Arid Fear event will be added to the nightmare mode drop table "soon"

check the wiki for the clantech weapons, you need a clan with a dojo and research to create them, its about a week of time for some of the highest tier ones, rank 6/7 account status required for some

the wiki has tons of info now, it gets better everyday

http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki

also the most recent livestream talked about a LOT of stuff coming down the pipe, especially important is the upcoming damage/armor overhaul, probably going to shift the OP gear around, hopefully for the better

https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/95416-thank-you-for-watching-livestream-12/

in closing, welcome back OP, nice post btw, and good luck tenno =]

Haven't seen you post in a long while!

Can't really remember what all took place around Update 7, but a few things:

1. Get Dethcube sentinel for maximum pwnage.

2. Boss kills now make the Stalker show up. He doesn't show up on assassination missions, however. Stalker pack in market is kinda pricey...

3. Thrown weapons are the bizness. Despair and Kunai are fairly top dog, but also projectile weapons. Hikou not so much.

4. Clan weapons are ridiculous and will require a lot of credits and resources. Most clans who have been around a while already have all research done. Acrid currently takes the cake in DPS, but Ogris, Lanka, and Flux Rifle (maybe the Dera in certain situations) are all pretty amazing.

5. Nightmare missions (as indicated by a skull on the node) reward one of the new dual mods at the end of the mission.

6. Powers changed on a few frames, like Rhino and Mag. Ember and Trinity are apparently next on the list for updating.

7. Everybody farms Mobile Defense or Endless Defense these days; mod enemies equals more exp and more mods. Difficulties and levels have changed slightly on some planets.

8. More Grineer and Corpus tilesets, including outdoors!

9. Melee weapons are... still melee weapons

10. Artifact cards have now become Aura mods, which add mod energy. Matched polarity means double points from it. Max out your Aura cards ASAP!

You meant to say get Shade so your &#! can be saved when an Ancient surprise buttsekks you.

Remember the stalker? He now drops weapon bp for dread, despair and hate. The stalker version of bow, kunai and scythe. For warframes get vauban and nova.

... except the ones that aren't.

Glaive and Kestrel are the new THROWN weapons that go in the melee slot. Charged attacks send these weapons flying, bouncing off enemies and either causing armog ignoring damage or knockback respectively. They can headshot too. Regular attacks they act like normal 1h swords.
