(PSN)MrKingtut
In the past you could use Loki's switch teleport ability to warp a player into extraction and force them to extract, however you can still do this with Valkyr and her ripline ability by grabbing players and pulling them into the extraction zone. I feel that it would be the same simple fix that happened to Loki's switch teleport. Maybe next patch this could happen?
Nacond
To be honest I think it should be possible to extract in survival similar to defense. So if you want to stay you should be able to. But if you want to leave (maybe have to) it should also be possible...
Dark_Chroma_Prime
You are able to swith teleport them into extration but swith teleport out of extraction point is not possible
(PSN)PsychopathRIP69
It would be much better to allow you to leave individually then be forcefully pulled out..maybe they'll consider it for excavation an survival eventually.
dopey_opi
In some circumstances, it's possible to indefinitely hold someone in the mission while they diddle around trying to pop every loot container, and more annoyingly, when some players decide to stay and prevent extraction to harass someone into eventually leaving and aborting the mission. I propose that we solve both of these problems with one simple addition: once you enter the extraction zone, you must Interact with it by holding X for a second or two. If you are not the host, you are taken to the rewards screen -> back to landing craft sequence right away. If you are host, a shortened countdown - maybe 20 seconds - is displayed on all members of the party's screen indicating that the host is extracting, which may motivated them to move it along. If one or more players choose not to extract, then a host migration is performed and the host is taken to the rewards screen. For Survival or Defection, which allows for extraction at any time, no countdown for the host. They simply go to the rewards screen, and host migration occurs. It seems like that would be really easy to implement, and would solve the complaints on both sides. Complaints that are, actually, both quite valid. Expecting randomly selected people in a matchmaking squad to all agree and get along and extract at the same time through consensus is just silly. Some people wanna stay longer, some people wanna leave sooner. Both can be accommodated, and the ability of scum to grief a squad over extraction will be eliminated. Birdframe_Prime
To throw a point in on the other side of things; currently if half of the team want to leave (basically any two players) just standing in extract starts the countdown timer, which is why you can't switch-teleport a player out of extract. When you're one person trying to get out of a team of four, yeah, that's a pain. But if two of you want to leave then that's the end of the mission even if the other two are bimbling about popping containers.
EinheriarJudith
Allow people to leave individually and at each 5 min interval do a check to see which other squads on the same node are on the same time and put them together so that you can go as long as you want and almost always have a full squad. matchmaking needs to be more modular and it isnt.
